Tyler showed great disdain when his wish of getting a daughter was let down. What irritated him mostwas that this son

looked remarkably like him.

After recovering from childbirth, Vicky accompanied a newly pregnant Aurora on a shopping trip forbaby supplies.

Upon hearing Vicky’s story, Aurora could not help but ask, “Men are usually happy when they havesons, so why does

Tyler prefer daughters?”

Vicky sighed. “Tyler says that a family is never really balanced and happy unless they have one sonand one daughter.”

Aurora nodded thoughtfully. “Indeed. Now that you have a son, having a daughter would be perfect.Vicky, have you and

Tyler considered responding to the national call and having a third child?”

Vicky shook her head. “The last time I gave birth, Tyler wasn’t around, so he doesn’t know what it waslike. This time, he

was scared out of his wits and had no intention of having more children. A few days ago, he evenunderwent a

vasectomy.”

Aurora chuckled. “Daughters may be sweet and well-behaved, but there are advantages to havingsons, too. With Lufian

around, Tyler should be able to retire early and enjoy life with you.”

Tyler had not fully recovered when he first returned. Eventually, after resolving their issues, Tyler’shealth gradually

improved under Vicky’s care.

Once he was better, Tyler began taking care of Vicky during her pregnancy. Having taken care of Vickyduring her

previous pregnancies, he was experienced in this role.

Being a father of two, Tyler finally abandoned his revenge against the Hart family under Vicky’spersuasion and regained

control of Hart Corporation. After all, power and influence were necessary for a good life, and Tylerwanted to do

everything to secure a great life for his family.

Old Mister Hart, upon learning of this, made a special call to thank Vicky. He returned to Molivia forretirement, with

Valencia and Orion accompanying him.

Vicky smiled with a touch of tenderness in her eyes. “I need to stop by my studio later. The clothingdesigns I made for

him should have arrived.”

Aurora’s initial impression of Tyler was hardly favorable, but after witnessing his genuine care andconcern for Vicky, her

opinion gradually changed.

It was clear that Tyler cared deeply for Vicky. Despite all the challenges they had faced, the stormsfinally passed.

Aurora offered, “I’ll go with you!”

“Alright.”

After retrieving the clothing designs from the studio, Vicky was ready to head home.

“Vicky, can you accompany me to buy a few more things? I…forgot to buy something,” Aurora said.

Vicky looked at her in confusion. “Didn’t you just buy everything you needed?”

Aurora averted her gaze. “Well… I want to buy some cat food! We’re running low at home.”

Vicky gave her a knowing look. “Sure, let’s go.”

Taking advantage of Vicky’s distraction, Aurora secretly texted Tyler.

[Tyler, hurry up. I can’t stall Vicky much longer.]

Her plan to meet Vicky today had actually been Tyler’s idea.

Since he missed so many of Vicky’s birthdays, he wanted to spend some quality time alone with herthis time. Hence, he

asked Aurora to arrange an outing with Vicky while he prepared a surprise at home.

As Aurora leisurely picked out cat food, she kept waiting for Tyler’s response.

Eventually, her phone buzzed as Tyler replied.

[Buy some more time.]

Aurora felt like her life had lost all meaning upon reading his response.

Resigned, she came up with an excuse to drag Vicky to a pet store to look at pets and Vicky obliged.

The pet store had a wide variety of animals, making it a great way to pass the time.

After spending about two hours there, Aurora finally received a message from Tyler.
