LUCIFER'S HUMAN BRIDE
TRYING TO KILL HIM

Lucinda walked back into the house, taking out pink heels from the wardrobe, while ignoring Medusa.

"Are you wearing heels all the time? It will hurt your human feet." Medusa muttered, staring at her.

"It's none of your business; it's my human feet." Lucinda snarled and wore the heel; these were higher heels than she was used to wearing. She attempted to walk with the heels and almost stumbled. "Be careful!" Medusa yelled.

Lucinda rolled her eyes and began to struggle to walk in her heels. She left the house while walking down the stairs in her heels.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" She exclaimed, holding onto the handrail for support as she was descending the stairs.

She found herself in front of the office, and she tried to stylishly enter the office with her head held high and almost fell causing Ralph to laugh.

"Hahaha."

"Lucy, are you okay?" He asked, smiling from ear to ear. Her face flushed, she twisted her lips, and she replied. "Yes, I am." She managed to get to her desk and sat there, taking off her heels.

"My dear wife, it's time to make your first attempt to kill that human." Lucifer spoke telepathically.

"I can't simply kill him. He is right over there." She replied in her head, staring at Ralph, who was engrossed in the thing he was staring at on his laptop.

"You can kill him, Lucinda; if he sees you trying to attack him, he will still die anyway." Lucifer remarked. "I already arranged for that. Look under your desk; there is an emerald sword there; it can kill demons, so I believe it can kill a human like him." Lucifer stated.

She slowly looked under her desk and saw the edge of the sword. A gasp escaped from her lips. She squatted and drew the sword out, staring at it with wide eyes.

"Lucy, is anything the problem?" Ralph inquired and got up from his desk, walking over to her. She quickly pushed the sword back into her desk, stood up, and smiled at him.

"I am going out for a while. You can go and serve Deacon now." Ralph said, dropping a bag of meat on her desk. She gulped and grasped the bag; Ralph disappeared in front of her. Lucinda grumbled to herself as she walked down the corridor to the secret passage, "How am I going to kill him when he isn't here? Or should I set a trap for him? I think I will do that." She thought to herself and pushed the brick into the wall. She entered the dark hole and held the bag of meat with her teeth, sliding down the rope.

She landed on the floor with her hands on fire; she blew the fire out of her hand and took the bag from her mouth; she jumped through the lava; and she finally arrived at the gate and knocked on it. The ground shook for a while before Deacon flew out of it and landed in front of her.

"Good morning," She greeted him and placed the bag in front of him. Without uttering a word, he sniffed the bag and tore it open, eating the meat. She attempted to leave when he stopped her.

"Where do you think you are going?" Deacon asked, blowing cold air with his nose.

"Back to the office," she replied.

"I want to apologize on Ralph's behalf for his behavior towards you yesterday. He has trust issues," Deacon stated.

"How do you know about that?" she asked.

"I know how Ralph is. He is my son. Remember," Deacon stated.

"It's okay; he already apologized yesterday," she replied.

"I thought you would have handed in your resignation letter," he remarked.

"Nah, I just got hired; I am strong; I am not easily frightened," she praised herself.

"Hahaha!" he laughed.

"You are a brave girl, Lucinda; you can go now," he said.

"Thank you!" she beamed and ran away quickly. She arrived back at the office and stuck her head inside; the office was still empty with no sign of him. She swiftly entered the office and drew out the emerald sword and placed it in her mouth, holding it there and feeling the sharp edges. She jumped onto the ceiling, clinging to it like a gecko.

She crawled on it to Ralph's desk area and stared at his chair. She crawled to the wall above his desk, punched a hole in it, made the hole deeper, and shoved the sword into it, making sure it was pointing directly at his chair.

She chuckled slightly to herself and was about to jump down from the ceiling when she heard the sound of the office door. She turned invisible and saw that it was Ralph; he was talking to someone on the other side of the door. He finished talking and entered the office; her heart started beating rapidly as he was walking toward his seat.

"I didn't know it would be this easy to kill the human that bullied me," she thought. He paused in front of his desk.

"Lucinda! I thought she was here; how strange." He muttered to himself, stroking his chin. Her heart skipped a beat as she quickly crawled in the direction of the door; she bit her lower lip, hoping he didn't look up.

Ralph moved closer to his chair and was about to sit on it when she used her telekinesis to make the sword fall on him, but he moved away almost immediately, and the sword penetrated into his chair. His eyes widened as he gazed at the emerald sword. He pulled it out of his chair, glancing at it.

"What the hell is this? Is someone trying to kill me?" he thought out loud.

"Shit! I couldn't kill him." She lamented placing her hand on her face in disappointment and climbed out of the office. She jumped on the floor, turned visible again, and ambled into the office.

"You silly girl, you couldn't get the job done! Why did you choose to go with your plan instead of mine? You are not the wife I trained!" Lucifer snapped in her head.
