Luna Abigail -
Chapter 30
Abby’s P.O.V.
The tension in the room is so thick you can cut it with a knife. Everyone in the room seemed angry at one thing or the other. The Goddesses kept staring at each other, my girls staring at Keres and then Sylla, keeping their gaze fixed on the crazy witch girl.
I looked at Laurus. He seemed.. Frightened somehow. Maybe this was not what he had envisioned when he teleported me from my home. Which reminded me, we need new and stronger magic fences, to keep people from being teleported against their wishes.
Laurus cleared his throat.
“Well, well. This is every such a delightful surprise. Selene, Monica and Ophelia, all here in my humble abode together. I had never thought this would happen again.” He says, looking like this is anything but delightful. I can’t help but roll my eyes discreetly.
“Laurus. Why have you kidnapped the werewolf/witch Queen? What’s the game here?” Selene asks in a no nonsense voice. She is still staring at Keres, even though her question is directed to the demon King.
“Well, sister. The little icky Queen has something we want, so naturally I asked him to summon her to make her a deal.” Keres answer before Laurus has a chance. Selene laughs.
“The Destiny Children?” She asks, even though the answer is obvious. My hands cover my stomach again, and the girls close ranks around me. They will let nothing happen to their prince and princess. Jax moves to my side, his eyes slightly glazed over. At that moment, the door to the room opens and in floats a gorgeous young woman, who walks over to Jax. She takes his hand, and my anger flares. Who does she think she is, but before I can react to my murderous instincts, she speaks?
“Father, what is going on?” She looks directly at Laurus.
“Jasmin, don’t concern your little head with this. This is nothing but a misunderstanding.” The girl laughs at that.
“Sure doesn’t look like it.” She answers, while looking over the crowd. Her eyes land on me, and they light up.
‘Queen Abigail, it’s a genuine pleasure to meet you.’ She links privately to me, and I smile in response.
Keres sneers.
“You can’t even keep your own children in line, Laurus. Pathetic.” Then she sends out a blast that tumbles all of us on the floor.
“The children are mine!” She yells over the commotion and reaches for me with her magic. But Ellie, who jumps in front of me, blocks her attempt. It hit directly her in the stomach area, her eyes widen and her cry makes my b***d run cold. The incoming battle halts for a moment, as everyone around us feels the despair in her scream. In that moment, I know what has happened, and the tears of her agony are my own.
My heart breaks with her, as the life, yet to be welcomed into this world, is killed. My scream matches Ellie’s when the anger I have built up over the unfairness of it all is relished. The kidnapping, the desire to take my unborn children, just because of power hunger, the murder of Ellie’s children because she protected me. Everything comes down to this, and I feel how Galaxy prepares herself to come out and do her worst.
Galaxy takes joint control with me, and we strike back in kind. Everything is chaos of spells, godly magic and brute force is combined in a war that should not have happened yet. They did not build the room for this, and it shakes more and more violently with every strike back and forth.
The battle force us outside in the courtyard, where Keres summons demons to help her side. Ellie has got herself as much together as she can, and joins in on the battle with a fierceness I have never seen in her. Her aura screams she has nothing to lose in this moment, but she forgets herself and everything she still has to live for.
Losing her unborn child has fueled her anger, and her powers harness that anger into deadly preciseness in their hits.
“Abby, we need to get Ellie to calm down, otherwise she will lose herself in the darkness and soon join her sister’s side.” Morgan yells at me, but I can’t get to her as I am holed up with four demons and Sylla. But when Sylla hears Morgan, she switches her attention to Ellie completely. She edges her twin on, fueling her more and more, rooting for her to come to the darkness with her, so they can be together again.
Sylla is so occupied by her efforts to get Ellie to snap, she doesn’t see me sending a blast her way. I hit her straight in the head, making it possible for Laurel to get to Ellie. Laurel reaches her just in the knick of time. Calling her name, not sure what to do.
‘SMACK HER HARD!’ I scream in a mind-link, panicked over the possibility of losing my sister. As Laurel smacks her as hard as she can, someone teleport into the middle of the fray. A small sized figure with a taller one beside them.
I concentrate on the enemies in front of me. Fighting to the best of my abilities. They are strong, and I have to be careful because of my pups, but they have to be careful all well. Keres ordered them not to harm my children. I dodge one attack after the other, using my powers and fast reflects. They work together to get a hold of me, but as Galaxy and I are in joint control, I can harness more of her wolf’s strength than usual. I break free, desperate to get to Ellie and Laurel.
Suddenly, I feel my pups move. A feeling of protection comes over me and then a surge of power I have never felt before flows from my unborn children outwards. They create a force field strong enough to kill all four of the demons. Smashing them into oblivion, making sure they will not return to the underworld ever again.
My pups protected me. Galaxy is purring at the thought in my head, praising them. I can’t believe they are already so powerful. Where will it end if they can already create and use magic from my womb? Galaxy consoles me.
‘They are destined to unite the realms of the supernatural. They will be strong. More than you and Matt. But they will also need guidance.’ She says with pride. The battle still flows around me, and I am reminded I need to get to Ellie.
After the force field clear my immediate opponentes I run towards Laurel, the figures I saw teleport in here and Ellie. She is crying and pouring her heart out, sitting on the floor, her arms around. Willow. In front of Willow and the devastated Ellie, stand a beautiful light brown wolf and a handsome young man. They are both protecting the sisters, who are not in any capacity to fight, or so I thought.
Ellie says something to Willow, who puts a hand on her stomach. A soft golden glow flows from her hands and into Ellie. Galaxy and I can feel the magic flowing from one to another, and then we hear it. The beat of a heart. Willow has saved Ellie’s child. But how?
When she is finished with her task, Willow rises. Her eyes are black as coal, her aura changes from warm and inviting to cold and deathly. Her skins pales, her hair turns black as night. Everything in her being is the contrary to her normal bubbly and happy self.
Her feet are no longer touching the ground, and she flows towards the center of the battle where the four goddesses are fighting each other. Laurus and Vera have disappeared from the battlefield, I noticed. I follow in the wake of Willow, making sure not to come near her. Galaxy keeps whimpering in my mind. She does not like the change in our little sister, but she knows something I don’t. She continues to warn me not to come near her.
Everywhere she flows, the battle stops. Those who do not get out of her way quick enough falls to the ground, dead. I mind-link the others to make sure they do not come near her, and they all respond with gathering around me. All of them have wounds from the battle, but none is fatal. I breath a sigh of relief.
Ellie gets to her feet with the help of the young man and walks to my side. The tears are still prominent in her eyes. I put an arm around her shoulder, and Galaxy lets me take full control again. The battle is over, for now.

We keep following Willow to the middle of the courtyard, where the four goddesses are still fighting each other. A great dark blue panther, with the clearest ice-blue eyes I’ve ever seen, walks up beside Willow who doesn’t seem to take notice of him. He walks so close to her; I fear he will drop dead any minute.
“They are mates. She will never hurt him. Not that she can, anyway. Jax is the next in line for the throne down here.” The young man says, his eyes pinned on the panther and my sister with pride.
“They are going to be a magnificent pair when she is of ages. Just think how powerful she’ll be then, when she is so powerful already.” He continues.
The goddesses have not sensed the surrounding battle has stopped, mostly. Some demons try to make a last effort at defeating us, but we, mostly Willow or what/who the hell she is, kill them without mercy.
She glides towards the goddesses, who have finally noticed her and the finished battle. Keres eyes widen, her mouth agape.
“No.. No, no, no. What have you done?” She screams at her sisters with a finger raised toward Willow.
Willow hisses. Her black eyes fixed on the dark goddess. Her aura becomes even darker, and it seems to seep out of her. The panther moves closer to her side, sitting down. It sits slightly in front of Willow, who finally seems to notice it. She pus a hand on him, and as she does that, his fur seems to get dark blue flames around it. He purrs.
“Wow. Will you look at that? I’ve heard the tales, but never had I ever thought to live and see this day. How about you, Jasmin?” The young man asks the woman, who mind-linked me earlier.
“They truly are special. I wish my mate will be as special and devoted if I ever am granted one again.” The girl answer with a big smile. The panther turns his massive head, dark blue eyes meet with the ice-blue once of the couple besides me. He huff in their direction. His eyes have become darker, as if he is consuming the dark energy of Willow.
“Keres. Goddess of the underworld, this is your only warning. Keep away from my family, or I will come after you! I will not tolerate these schemes to obtain more power. The balance of the realms must prevail at any cost.” Willow says in a dark hoarse voice that is not her own.
Keres looks at her sisters with disdain.
“I hope you know what you have started.” She sneers. She turns around, as to look for someone, but that someone has other plans, because only a second later I am attacked.
With a warrior cry, Sylla attacks me. I push Ellie out of the way this time before she can react. Her child will not be harmed once again.
Galaxy rushes forward, and we share control again, dodging the attack of the crazed witch. Her eyes are slightly widened, full of hatred and hunger for what she cannot have. She attacks with no mercy, not caring about her own wounds as we fight and throw punches and kicks at each other.
Out of nowhere, Sylla slices a dagger over my arm. My scream fills the courtyard. I glimpse the blade and it seems to be a cursed one. By the pain of the wound and the fact it is not closing, the curse is made by some powerful dark magic. I fall to one knee, feeling the power and life slip out of me in that wound. How is that possible?
I can feel Galaxy panicking. This is not a normal curse. Then we see Keres smirk in the background.
“Give up those precious pups, or die with them within you.” She says before trying to teleport herself and Sylla out of there. Willow’s eyes widen in fear and anger as I slowly fall the last way down. Keres and Sylla screams, something must have gone wrong with the teleportation. The thought makes me wonder.
The last thing I see is everyone rushing to my side. I hear Ellie and Willow yelling my name and Galaxy howling in agony in my head before everything goes dark.
