Jocelyn was genuinely grateful toward Skyler. If he had not saved her last night, Lily would be in totalcontrol of her life right now. She felt extremely regretful when she recalled the mess that she had causedin the morning.

She cast a cautious glance at Skyler while having breakfast. “Thank you for everything last night!”

Skyler raised his head to glance at her. He looked like he did not want to bother her atall. Jocelyn pursed her lips and blinked her eyes. “Everything that happened this morning wasan accident. I‘m sorry!” Skyler huffed lightly and got up. “I‘m full!” Jocelyn sat by the diningtable dejectedly like a loser. After Skyler put on his shoes, he asked her in an icy tone, “Are you leaving?I’m going to work right now!”

After hearing what Skyler said, Jocelyn immediately sprung to action. He was implying that he would befetching her towork! She immediately stood up and said, “I‘m coming! I‘m coming right now!” She changed her shoes in a hurry and grabbed her handbag. She smiled cheerily as she looked at Skyler, whose face remainedemotionless. “Let‘s go!” Before they left, Jocelyn handed a plaster over to Skyler. Skyler raised hisbrows.

Jocelyn pointed at his chin and said, “Put in on your wound!”

Skyler’s handsome face darkened as soon as she mentioned this. “Do you think that other people won’tbe able to guess what happened after I stick a plaster on?” After speaking, Skyler walked out angrily. Hedid not even bother to turn around. Jocelyn had an ashen expression on her face. What could otherpeople guess from the wound?

Was his injury not caused by her mistake this morning? Jocelyn learnedthat she could only collect her work card in the afternoon after reporting for work.

Therefore, she headed to the design department to work. Once she arrived at the design department, awoman dressed in a light blue suit with exquisite makeup on her face walked over and greeted her curtlybefore she could say anything. However, Fiona interrupted her with a domineering stance before she couldfinish speaking.“ Why aren‘t you doing it? Is this such a difficult task?” Jocelyn frowned slightly. Shefound a desk and started categorizing the drafts.

Although she felt uncomfortable about doing a task that she was notmeant to, she did not want to get into a dispute with her new colleague since she had just startedworking at Prosperity Jewelry She quickly finished categorizing the design drafts. She handed them toFiona and said, “I’ve finished categorizing the design drafts!” Fiona took the draftsfrom her and flipped through them. She cast a shocked glance at her and said,“Not bad! You work quite efficiently!”

Jocelyn nodded and was just about to say something when Fiona handed her a cup. “Pour a cup ofwater for me!”

Jocelyn frowned. She noticed the irritated expression on Fiona’s face before she couldsay anything. “What‘s wrong? Are you not willing to pour a cup of water for me?”

Jocelyn did not want to argue with her. She tookthe cup from her and said, “No, I‘m not!” After speaking, she went over to fill Fiona‘s cup with water. Assoon as she placed the cup of water on Fiona’s table, she overheard someone speaking next to her.

“Guys,where do you think Jocelyn White is? Look at the time! Why isn‘t she here yet? Is she planning to act all bossy in the design department since she rose to fame online yesterday?!”

“Who knows? Anyways, President Moore was the one whopersonally hired her. Nobody else in Prosperity Jewelry except Big Sis Josie has ever received suchtreatment!”

Fiona‘s face darkened as soon as she heard their discussion. “I don’t care what you guyssay, but don‘t just compare anyone to Big Sis Josie. Given Big Sis Josie’s current position, howcan Jocelyn White compare to her?!”

Jocelyn‘s expression changed. However, she did not sayanything. After hearing what Fiona said, everyone agreedimmediately. “Right, right, Fiona is right. Jocelyn Whiteis nothing. Trash like her doesn‘t even deserve to carry Big Sis Josie‘s shoes for her! How can we evencompare them?!”

Everyone spproved to be true last night!” “Everyone is just following the general trend. Nobody knows the actual truth.Besides, Jocelyn White might have buttered up President Moore toget back at Lily White!” “Nobody knows the truth about plagiarism. Besides, the lawsuit between themwill last up to two years. Who knows what shady processes are going within? “I’m always on Twitter. I don’t really pay attention to other social media. There weren’t photos of her onTwitter!”

“I saw a photo of her before. However, I don’t recognize faces well. Besides, she wasn‘t that famous inthe past! How can I remember what she looks like after looking at her photo once or twice?!”

Suddenly, someone glanced at Jocelyn, who was standing by the side and said, “This new assistantlooks similar to Jocelyn. Don‘t you guys think so?” The persontook out a blurry photograph and handed it over to everyone else.

Everyone else was yet to register her words. They rushed forward to take alook at the picture. Just then, a girl suddenly ran into the design department. She clutched her chest as shlooked like she could not catch her breath.
