Chapter 123 Bully My Sister-In-Law

Anastasia was surprised. "Emma?"

"Anastasia, I heard this woman kept cursing at you downstairs, and then I watched her sneak up. Fortunately, I came in time. Indeed, she wants to kill you!"

Emma Patterson was Christian's younger sister, the young lady of the Patterson family, and the one who donated her bone marrow back then.

She had been recuperating abroad all those years. Unexpectedly, she had returned to the country.

Anastasia didn't have a deep impression of her as they didn't have much interaction with each other.

Seeing that Beatrice was about to get up from the ground, Emma immediately ran over and sat on her body, slapping her face fiercely.

"How dare you bully Anastasia? I must teach you a lesson!"

No matter how hard Beatrice struggled, she couldn't escape. She was so angry that she fought with Emma, pulling each other hair, refusing to give in.

"Who the hell are you? Do you know who I am? I am Christian Patterson's fiancée!"

When Emma heard it, she was infuriated, and her attack became even more intense, scolding, "Nonsense! My sister-in-law is standing in front of me. What kind of fiancée are you pretending to be? How could my brother marry you?"

Beatrice's arm was wrapped with gauze, which was obviously burnt, so her movements were not as agile as Emma's. She suffered a lot of Emma's tricky attack, and her face turned livid with anger. Her injury was more serious than Anastasia thought.

Before Anastasia could react, she heard someone yelling coldly at the door, "Both of you! Stop it!"

Christian strode over grim-faced, looked at the two women on the ground coldly, and then glanced at Anastasia, who was standing beside them, and asked, "What happened?"

Anastasia smiled faintly, with indifference and aloofness.

Before she could speak, Emma got up from the ground, threw herself into Christian's arms aggrievedly and complained,

"Chris, this woman bullied me. She beat me and scolded me. See, she pulled off my hair, and it hurts like hell!"

Beatrice was still brewing her emotions, and her temples throbbed when she looked at Emma in shock to see her play victims and complain.

Seeing that Christian didn't push Emma away, Beatrice came back to her senses, immediately suppressed her tears, and smiled, pretending.

"You must be Emma, right? I've heard about you. It's just a misunderstanding."

Emma looked at her angrily and scolded, "Misunderstanding? You obviously wanted to bully Anastasia, but I exposed you, so you became furious and beat me out of embarrassment. Chris, she said she is your fiancée. How ridiculous! When did you marry two wives?"

Christian glanced at Beatrice fiercely, and the latter quickly explained, "I didn't. Emma has misunderstood."

Christian lowered his eyes and looked at Anastasia, who put an indifferent attitude of watching the show and stayed out of the matter, and he was suddenly displeased.

"What do you say?" he asked abruptly.

Anastasia paused and smiled faintly, "It depends on whom you want to believe. If I said Emma didn't lie, would you believe me? This is not your first time to trust Beatrice unconditionally, anyway." She just thought it was ridiculous. Had her words been so effective, would he not have been concerned?

It was just that he was biased and chose the person he wanted to trust.

Now it was his own sister's turn to confront Beatrice, yet he was still hesitating.

Emma looked at the two of them suspiciously, and immediately grabbed Christian's arm.

"Chris, don't you believe me? Look at the thing that a woman is holding. She clearly wants to strangle Anastasia from behind. Does this vicious woman really have anything to do with you?"
