Chapter 144 Name a Price

Anastasia knew that Christian would not let her go so easily. She hesitated for a moment and looked at him seriously.

"Name a price."

Christian was taken aback. "What?"

Name a price?

Did Anastasia plan to pay a president who was not short of money?

Christian pursed his lips.

Anastasia said lightly, "Except for this, I can't think of a better way to show my sincerity."

"100 million dollars."

Christian got annoyed by her words. He narrowed his eyes and wanted to embarrass her. Anastasia should have spent all the 100 million dollars he gave her last time.

Even if she didn't spend much of it, she would be reluctant to give it back to Christian.

As long as she begged him, he would change his mind.

He wouldn't ask her for money. Instead, he would give her another 100 million dollars.

But Anastasia glanced at Christian and breathed a sigh of relief. Then, she took out her phone and transferred 100 million dollars to him.

She felt great that they were even.

When Christian saw the message, his face darkened.

Holding his phone tightly, he lowered his voice.

"Do you have to be like this? Why do you keep a distance from me?

"Don't you know what I am thinking?"

Anastasia was stunned, wondering why Christian was upset again.

But since she transferred the money, she was happy.

"I know. I did what you asked. I didn't bargain!"

Anyway, they were even. She wouldn't be under great pressure.

She looked at the many messages from Julian and Derek on the phone.

She forgot to tell them she was safe.

Anastasia frowned and smiled politely at Christian.

"Goodbye."

As she spoke, she turned and went downstairs.

She called Julian.

"Uncle Julian, I'm fine. Of course, it was not me. We were cheated yesterday."

Julian gritted his teeth angrily.

"I didn't sleep last night. You didn't answer the phone. When I got there, they said that there was no appointment, and I knew I was cheated. Those bastards dared to plot against you. I won't let them go!" Anastasia lowered her eyes with a smile. Light shadows were reflected on her fair skin. She felt relaxed after the accident.

"Well, I won't let them go either. They are black sheep in the company. They have to leave. You didn't tell my parents and make them worry, did you?"

"No, I just told your brother. He found the person in charge of the club overnight, and he was relieved to hear that you were rescued.

"But he didn't tell me who saved you. Why don't we bring some gifts to thank him?"

Julian sighed. He didn't close his eyes all night.

Although Derek said Anastasia was fine, Julian didn't dare to be careless.

The Graves family treated Anastasia well.

If something happened to Anastasia in his place, he would suffer.

Anastasia said casually, "No need. I already thanked him."

"Okay. Call Derek. He didn't sleep all night either."

After hanging up the phone, Anastasia called Derek.

"Christian didn't do anything to you, did he?"

Derek knew that Christian had took Anastasia away.

But he couldn't blatantly take her away, or everyone would know that someone had plotted against her. The gossip would ruin her reputation.

So Derek just sent some people to watch Christian.

Anastasia smiled.

"Christian asked me for 100 million dollars, and I gave it to him."

Derek heaved a sigh of relief.

"Well, he didn't demand an exorbitant price. Are you still there? I'm nearby. Shall I pick you up?"
