Chapter 189 Go and Fight for It

The only self-accusation Anastasia had in her heart vanished in a flash.

He waited for a few seconds.

She was indifferent and just glanced at the doctor next to her lightly.

"Please get a CT scan of his brain. Is he sick in the head?"

The doctor got silent.

Christian was frustrated.

The doctors started treating his wrist without a word. The dean began arranging for a VIP room upstairs.

Waiting for a while.

Anastasia took out a card and handed it to the dean.

"Mr. Patterson's injuries were caused by me, so this is rightfully my responsibility. Any expenses needed at the hospital will be charged directly to this card." The dean was still hesitating when he heard Christian's voice coming out faintly.

"Take her card. From now on, if anything happens to my treatment, no matter how big or small, you must call Ms. Graves. She will be responsible to the end!" He glanced meaningfully at Anastasia, pondering in his mind.

Did she understand the meaning of being responsible to the end exactly?

Anastasia had wanted to save the trouble before giving a card. Now after hearing Christian's words, she regretted it and wanted to take the card back.

But the dean had already put the card in his pocket as quickly as he could.

"Yes, I understand. Ms. Graves, please do the paperwork with me!"

Anastasia was silent.

It certainly went much smoother when the dean took her through the hospitalization process.

But even so, Anastasia was speechless.

She went back with a big package of medication.

She met Jane in the hallway, who was coming to change her medication.

Jane stood there softly and weakly, with a thin body. She seemed to be gazing at Anastasia.

But when Anastasia looked at her, she became instantly gracious and smiling.

Anastasia was a little surprised, but she nodded politely and detachedly.

Jane walked over and looked at her gently.

"Does Ms. Graves not feel well anywhere?"

Anastasia paused. "Taking medicine for someone else."

Jane laughed, "Your friend? Your boyfriend?"

Anastasia raised her head and looked at her faintly.

"Ms. Martinez, aren't you a little offended?"

She was straightforward.

Jane was different from Emma.

Emma was thoughtless because she was so well-protected.

But Jane was not an ignorant person.

Jane smiled gently. She stepped forward with a soft and melodious voice.

"Sorry. You're Christian's ex-wife, so I'm paying extra attention to you. I think I would have been relieved if I knew you had a boyfriend."

Although she looked like an unworldly artist, her words sent chills down one's spine.

Anastasia slightly twisted her eyebrows and pressed her lips, "I have divorced him, and there is no threat to you. And even if I did, you shouldn't have to come and ask me to put your mind at ease, should you?"

Jane was also very frank. Her eyes were complicated, but she was still smiling slightly.

"Ms. Graves, even though you are a person from an ordinary background, you managed to become Mrs. Patterson. So even if you are divorced, I don't dare to take it lightly."

"Ms. Martinez, if you've got what it takes, go and fight for it. You don't have to say that to me!"

Anastasia only felt ridiculous.

She didn't get in Christian's way. If Christian had gotten married earlier, she would have celebrated him!

For the man who had neglected her for three years, whoever married him was out of luck!

Jane looked at her with sympathetic eyes and said kindly, "There are many single men around me who are similar to your background. If you want, I would like to introduce them to you."

Anastasia eased her emotions.

Jane was really something. She was so good at cursing.

She actually said that Anastasia only deserved to date people from similar backgrounds.

She lowered her head and smiled slightly, then looked up again with cool eyes.

"Ms. Martinez, I put up with you for your father's sake. When I am polite to you, you must also know how to respect yourself."
