Chapter 201 His Soulful Eyes

A man wearing a mask approached Anastasia. The young man was very good at dancing. Gradually, the two cooperated perfectly.

The others consciously moved away.

When the song ended, everyone cheered enthusiastically.

Anastasia was still gasping. She smiled and left the dance floor.

The young man followed her and started a chat.

"Miss, you danced so well. Did you learn it specifically? Are you a model or an actress?"

Anastasia shook her head while waving her hands. "Neither."

"Shell we get to know each other?"

The young man proposed naturally.

Ignoring him, Anastasia looked around and saw Eleanor come smiling from the dance floor.

Eleanor pointed to the direction of their booth.

Jaxon appeared at some point, and he was walking toward them.

Eleanor whispered in Anastasia's ear, "While you were dancing, Mr. Stanford was looking at you all the time with affection in his eyes. It seemed he wanted to go up and devour you!" Her words were somewhat exaggerated. Anastasia pushed her.

"What nonsense! Even in the face of a dog, Mr. Stanford's eyes are still soulful!"

Standing not far away, Jaxon coughed and looked at her with a half-smile.

"When did I stare at a dog?"

When Anastasia was caught in the act of teasing him, she smiled a little embarrassedly.

The young man beside Anastasia still wanted to say something, but he found Jaxon taking his coat over and covering her bare shoulders.

"It is a bit cold!"

Complicated emotions surged in his eyes, and Jaxon gave the young man a meaningful look.

Anastasia didn't notice it and walked to the booth.

Unwillingly, the young man wanted to catch up and ask for her contact information, but Eleanor strangled him from behind.

"Mr. Wellington, haven't you seen that she has a boyfriend?"

The man was taken aback. He looked at her in shock, covering his mask.

"How did you recognize me?"

Eleanor snorted lightly and pinched his chin frivolously.

"Have you forgotten that you toasted me at the drinking party three days ago? You were still angry because I refused to drink. If you pester my friend again, I'll take off your mask and let everyone know who you are!"

Oscar Wellington was a handsome young artist who had recently become popular. When he went out to nightclubs, he had to wear a mask for fear of being recognized.

Hearing what Eleanor said, he didn't dare to do anything more.

Oscar didn't stay any longer, waved at Eleanor awkwardly, and then ran away quickly.

Anastasia took off Jaxon's coat as they got to the booth.

Jaxon took it casually. Then he pulled out a box from behind, which contained a shawl with a unique pattern.

He handed it over and said with a gentle expression, "On my way, I always thought it was suitable for you, so I bought it, but I didn't expect it to match you perfectly!"

Anastasia froze for a moment and then took it.

She looked at the shawl. It was a limited edition just launched by a foreign luxury brand, and it was already being touted for seven figures.

Jaxon really understood girls' minds. This peculiar preference was too much for her to refuse.

Anastasia was a little hot after the dance, but the bar was very air-conditioned, and she soon felt cold.

Without being affected, she took it directly.

"Thank you. Mr. Stanford, when did you come?"

Anastasia had the shawl draped around her shoulders casually. Her small face was shiny and fair, and her skin looked quite tender under the lights. Jaxon's eyes darkened a little.

"I just came. I am out to kill time."

Anastasia took a sip of a glass of juice. Jaxon compressed his lips and said, "I took her away. Ask your subordinates to come back!"
