Madeline Crawford and Jeremy Whitman -
Chapter 2005
Hannah, thinking that she would have to pester Madeline for a long time before Madeline would agree, had not expected Madeline to agree so readily. She smiled satisfactorily, but she looked pointedly at Madeline.
"Since you've promised me, you can't go back on it.
"I won't take back what I said and the promises I made, but I want to remind you that perfume making is not an easy task, so don't give up halfway."
When she heard Madeline's words, Hannah let out a pejorative chuckle.
"Thank you for being so considerate, but you can rest assured that I've suffered from all kinds of hardships since I was a child, so I've always been fearless, and I'm not afraid of hardship."
Based on Hannah's words, Madeline finally understood why Hannah's personality was so unrestrained.
It turned out that it was all because of her life experience.
However, being unrestrained was not a personality that was worth showing off.
"Eveline, can I learn from you now?" Hannah asked impatiently.
Madeline nodded. "Come with me."
As she spoke, she raised her eyes and gave Jeremy a look to make him feel at ease so that he did not have to worry about her.
Hannah curled up her lips into a smile. She looked at Jeremy and wanted to say a few words to the man, but when she looked over, she saw Jeremy staring at Madeline in a gentle and caring manner, and the smile on her face fell again.
She gritted her teeth hatefully in secret, and then she clenched her fist as she followed Madeline to the laboratory. Madeline walked gracefully into the laboratory. She then naturally went up to the workbench and picked up the tablet. Hannah, thinking about what she had done a while ago, walked over to the bench also as if nothing had happened. "What are you looking at?"
Madeline swiped the screen indifferently and said, "This is the backend where I record the data of my perfume." "Oh." Hannah pretended like she just only knew about this and asked curiously, "Then what should I do next?" "You're just getting started, so of course, you have to start from the very basics."
"You're not going to ask me to start as a janitor, are you?" Hannah stared at Madeline with suspicion and contempt. Without looking at Hannah, Madeline took out two booklets about perfume making and handed them to Hannah. "First, familiarize yourself with these."
Hannah glanced at the booklets that Madeline had handed over but did not reach out to take them.
"Instead of asking me to read these, I think you should teach me through practical demonstrations. It'll be more straightforward, and it'll easier to understand." When Hannah had said that, Madeline looked at Hannah with interest.
"I never thought that you're so eager to learn." Madeline sighed in admiration, and when she saw that Hannah had a loftier expression on her face, she smiled. "Since you are so eager to learn, so be it. I need to discuss with a client about an order tonight, so you can come with me and learn about the situation. "Okay! " Hannah happily agreed. She then asked again, "Is this customer whose order you just completed today, the order that you'll be sending over?" Madeline nodded. "You've heard it quite clearly. "

Hannah froze for a moment with a guilty conscience. She then hurriedly found an excuse and explained, "I heard about it from some random person when I was outside waiting for you to come back." "Uh-huh." Madeline smiled faintly, unbothered by this.
She picked up the finished bottle of perfume and said, "Actually, the customer has no issues on their end, and the mass production for the perfume will also be starting tomorrow. We just need to go through the formalities with them tonight. The perfume itself won't be a problem."
