The situation made Fade grin, "One Ice Soul Pearl, but nine people. Who should I hand it over to?"

In an instant, all nine people's faces fell, their expressions darkened, their eyes seemed to be covered in ice and frost.

However, Amman merely snorted coldly and said, "Boy, there's no use playing tricks on us. The ancient mausoleum's entrance is right behind us. You'll be the one to open it with the Ice Soul Pearl."

"We can spare your life if you open the entrance. If you try anything clever, however, you'll die. It's that simple."

Amman moved aside after he finished talking.

Only then did Fade notice the giant stone gate behind them. The gate was engraved with elaborate patterns which intertwined with each other. It formed a complicated formation.

Nine gaps encircled the formation. Some items which radiated spiritual energy had filled up eight out of the nine gaps. The spiritual energy flowed along with the intricate patterns into the formation, causing it to shimmer. There was only one vacancy left.

Apparently, the final gap had been reserved for the Ice Soul Pearl in Fade's arms.

"Hurry up!"

Amman urged him.

Fade had no choice but to walk towards the mausoleums entrance. He took out the Ice Soul Pearl and slowly placed it on the stone gate.

At the same moment, Amman extracted a piece of his soul energy and penetrated Fade's spiritual consciousness.

This wisp of soul energy was like a steel nail, it pierced through Fade's spiritual consciousness as if attempting to secure the spiritual consciousness like a wedge. It controlled Fade's movements and even his thoughts. Learning Amman's intention, Fade almost instinctively wanted to rebel against him. He wanted to activate his soul energy to destroy that of Amman's.

However, at the same moment, eight more wisps of soul energies intruded Fade's spiritual consciousness. They were all like the first one, the steel nails stuck firmly in Fade's spiritual consciousness.

Fade shivered as he turned to look at the nine people behind him. He gave them a cold glare.

Amman Loh and the others were indifferent towards this.

"We've already left some soul energy in your spiritual consciousness," Amman explained, "You cannot escape our control, for we'll see each and every sly act of yours."

"So, don't have any clever ideas. Just be a good brat and open that gate. Understand?"

Fade knew very well that under these circumstances, his resistance would be futile.

The only thing he could do right now was nod.

He took a deep breath and suppressed his impulse to oppose. He turned around and positioned the Ice Soul Pearl in his hands to the vacant gap.

As the distance between the Ice Soul Pearl and the gap closed, a suction force between the two seemed to increase. With a snap, the Ice Soul Pearl fell into place and was embedded in the gap tightly. It fitted so flawlessly it was as if the Ice Soul Pearl was meant to be there.

After the Ice Soul Pearl was in place, a dull blue and freezing aura was released from the Ice Soul Pearl. It followed the detailed patterns on the stone door and began to spread and gather on the gate. Finally, the icy aura covered the entire formation. A layer of radiant light shone from the stone gate.

Then, the stone gate along with the entire mountain started to shake violently.

The stone gate slowly ascended and opened. Everyone at the scene held their breath and monitored the gate attentively.

Moments later, the stone gate was completely opened, revealing a dark entrance that led to the ancient mausoleum.

The mountain returned to normal as well.

However, with the entrance in front of them, Amman and the others did not dare to act rashly. They exchanged glances, but in the end, no one had the guts to step inside and lead the way.

Ultimately, their gazes fell on Fade.

Amman's face became cold and distant as he said, "Go in, brat."

Fade didn't even have a chance to speak before Pascal barged in, "The alternative is death."

The rest of them also intimidated him with menacing threats.

Their soul energies were secured in Fade's spiritual consciousness. He had completely lost the right to rebel against them. The only option Fade had left was to squeeze out a bitter smile before he entered the mausoleum.

Fade felt a somewhat moist and chilly aura as he strode into the mausoleum. It struck him and stuck to his body. It felt like he was covered with a layer of damp oil which made him extremely uncomfortable.

Furthermore, the turbid air in the mausoleum seemed to suck the warmth out of his entire body. The wet and sticky feeling clung to him. However, in his spiritual consciousness, Amman and the others were still nudging him. "Keep going!"

Fade activated his positive energy and ignited a bundle of flames as he peered forward cautiously.

Only then was he able to examine his surroundings clearly. He was in a long and narrow tunnel paved with bricks and stones. The passageway led to the depths of the mausoleum. He could not see its end. Fade could only continue moving forward.

After realizing Fade was still in one piece, Amman and the others were finally willing to step foot into the mausoleum as well.

Shortly after their arrival, a burst of enthusiastic cries could be heard.

These venerable masters of the Fetus Refine Realm were throwing themselves on the ground and hurling themselves against the walls. They were digging at the bricks around them with their bare hands. Such a scene made Fade wonder, "Have they lost their minds?"

He eventually figured out what all the fuss was about.

"Azure Cloud Stones, these are all Azure Cloud Stones."

"These are too extravagant. They used Azure Cloud Stones to pave the floor and build the walls. Such a wasteful act."

"But these are precious Azure Cloud Stones. Not only can they block positive energies, but they're also invulnerable to fire, waterproof, and resistant to lightning. They possess the power to thwart most natural forces."

"Many great Tool Refiners were willing to do anything to get their hands on just one Azure Cloud Stone so they could refine their tools well. They were ready to offer so much, yet they still failed to obtain it. Now look at this, paving the ground with fine Azure Cloud Stones, this, this..."

At that moment, Fade wanted to grab a few pieces of Azure Cloud Stones for himself as well.

However, he came to his senses quickly. He couldn't do such a thing considering the awful situation he was in. He could only shake his head and force the thought out of his mind.

At the same moment, Pascal and Amman spoke out to stop the other enthusiastic masters' childish act.

"Stop. We're not here for some bricks."

"We've just entered, we're not even in the center of the mausoleum yet. The real good pieces of stuff are inside, not here."

Their words pulled the other enraptured masters back to their senses.

"Indeed, we're only at the entrance,

yet it's already filled with treasures like these Azure Cloud Stones. One live can only imagine the riches and

wealth we will discover as we advance further into the

mausoleum!"

"The good stuff is inside. Hurry up, let's go!"

At an instant, all eyes were on Fade once more. They began urging him again.

"Hurry up, brat!"

Fade had no choice but to keep going.

Fade took countless turns after walking for a while, it was like he was walking in circles. The end was not once in his sight.

If he had not left some marks on the way, Fade really would've thought he was going around in a circle.

Just when Amman and the others grew impatient, Fade suddenly took a turn and also crashed into a shining black stone gate.

The nine people behind him also noticed the gate. Their eyes were immediately lit up with excitement and eagerness. "This, this is the real tomb."

"The treasures, they're all inside. Quickly, let's go in."

"Hurry up, brat, open the gate."

Fade stepped towards the black stone gate.

The problem was that the surface of the gate was smooth as glass. There were no patterns, no mechanisms, no nothing!

Fade tried pushing it, but the gate didn't budge at all. He activated his positive energy and slammed the gate, however, he didn't even lay a scratch on the black stone gate. Therefore, he turned his head and said, "I'm too weak. I can't open it."

Amman and Pascal's brows knitted into a frown. They walked over and activated their divine souls to replace out whether or not Fade was lying.

Then, both of them tested the resilience of the black stone gate. Fade wasn't lying at all.

The couple intervened personally and blasted the gate.

They were truly powerful venerable masters of the Fetus Refine Realm. The stone gate trembled after their strong attack.

Thus, all nine venerable masters took turns striking the stone gate.

Finally, after hundreds of attacks, the black stone gate could not bear it much longer and cracked open.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

"Finally, it's opened. The gate was truly sturdy and resilient."

"It really exhausted quite a lot of my positive energy."

"It's made of Golden Obsidian. No wonder it's so tough."

"Golden Obsidian, it's more precious than the Azure Cloud Stones from earlier. It's a shame they used it to make a stupid gate though."

After a burst of exclamation, the nine masters once again pushed Fade to the front.

"Get in!"

Fade had no choice but to cross the cracked gate and enter the room.

Fade felt an even more freezing aura from earlier as soon as he set foot into the room.

It was different from the Ice Soul Pearl's piercing chill. This aura radiated apathy and fear that originated from the depths of a desolate soul. The freezing feeling made Fade shudder. He activated his positive energy to fight this

horribly cold aura that penetrated his entire body.

"What do you see inside?"

Outside, Amman and the others inquired.

Fade held back the chills in his body and investigated his surroundings.

Behind the stone gate was a square room, or more precisely, a tomb.

The rock used to build the walls was not any weaker than the Azure Cloud Stones and Golden Obsidian outside.

Rows of items were positioned neatly underneath the four walls.

Some were weapons whilst some were bottles filled with drugs and medicine. There were also various kinds of stones, metal, gold and other materials.

Fade didn't know much about the things there.

However, judging from their aurae, they were certainly costly articles.

"Tell us, brat, what do you see?"

Amman kept urging him.

The tearing sensation in his spiritual

consciousness pained him very much. Fade could do nothing but reply hastily, "Weapons, materials medicine...all the things in here seem extremely valuable and priceless."

Amman and the others outside couldn't hold down their enthusiasm upon hearing Fade's words.
