Chapter 2313 The Crowded Breakfast Shop

Skipping breakfast had become Joe's habit, so he wasn't feeling hungry at the moment. If it weren't for his upset stomach, he wouldn't have asked someone to bring him breakfast. However, even Brennon couldn't help but gulp down his saliva at the smell of the porridge.

"Bren, why don't you give it a try first?" Joe generously offered as he noticed how Brennon struggled to hide his hunger.

"You don't have to worry about me. I've already had breakfast." Brennon returned to his desk. He couldn't help but glance at the porridge on the table when he turned around. How could such a simple breakfast be so appetizing?

Before he could take his seat, the slurping sound resounded from his back. In addition to the smell, Brennon couldn't resist the temptation anymore.

He summoned Alexander to the office through a phone call. In less than ten minutes, hurried footsteps could be heard from beyond the door. A flustered Alexander was back in the office.

Ever since Matthew took over the building, his mother-in-law had been gearing up for the opening. The place was completely renovated into a breakfast shop, namely S&L's Breakfast, in just a few days. Yet, they seemed to struggle with the sales on their first day of business. There were less than ten customers in total.

"Sasha, do you think the price is too high? Why aren't there any customers?"

The sight of fewer customers worried her mother.

"Mom, don't worry. Matthew said he spent a lot of time coming up with these recipes. Considering the cost, that is the lowest we can offer. Besides, you've tried 'em. Not only do they taste good, but they have the nutrients we need. Relax."

Although her daughter was telling the truth, Helen was still anxious. After all, there were hardly any customers dropping in since morning. She had lost confidence.

The waiting continued until noon. Helen had given up at this point. It was this late, so there probably wouldn't be any more customers.

Just as despair settled in her, a large group of white collars came rushing over from a distance. "Hey, we'll have a serving of your porridge each."

The sudden arrival of the crowd surprised her.

What's going on? It's already lunchtime, and there are still so many people coming to have porridge?

"Mom, why are you still standing there? Hurry up! We gotta serve them," reminded Sasha, and Helen finally snapped out of it.

Things finally got busy in S&L's Breakfast.

The customers at the dining area showered compliments after tasting the porridge.

"Wow, it's true. I thought Mr. Elrod was exaggerating. I didn't expect the porridge they serve here to be this nutritious."

"Indeed. My symptoms of stomach acid and bloating are staved off. It's really amazing."

"And it tastes delicious. What kind of divine breakfast shop is this?"

On the other side, Brennon and Joe took the center table. After finishing their giant bowls of porridge, Brennon rubbed his tummy with satisfaction.

"Alexander, order more of that breakfast tea you bought me this morning. Every table must have one."

Had he not personally tasted it, he wouldn't believe that there was such an invigorating drink in the world.

After Joe drank a cup of it, he went from being drowsy to a lively man. He performed perfectly at the financing press conference. As a result, the investment was successfully negotiated. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to claim that the success was stem from the tea buff.

That was why the whole company was having a meal at S&L's Breakfast together.
