Matthew only forced a smile.

He didn't expect to encounter such an awkward situation on his way to meet Leanna.

He couldn't do anything but contact Leanna again.

"I'm already here, Leanna. But, I've been stopped by your security guards."

The young security guard became even more rude after Matthew had hung up the phone.

"Stop pretending. Don't blame me for doing anything to you if you don't leave now."

He reached for his baton when he saw Matthew remained still.

The sound of an elevator was suddenly heard just as he was about to make a move.

Everyone turned their heads and saw Leanna, who was in professional-looking attire, walking quickly toward Matthew and the security guards.

She perfectly embodied the image of a modern-day businesswoman with her outstanding appearance and years of experience in the business world.

All who had witnessed that scene couldn't help but secretly glance at her from the side.

"Greetings, President Sandel!"

Then, Leanna approached Matthew and the security guards.

The security guards immediately greeted her in unison.

As for Matthew, he also bowed to her just like the rest, but with a mischievous grin.

Besides, President Sandel even came to welcome him personally.

They felt sad and jealous at the same time!

To make things even worse, their attention only earned them a scolding from Leanna.

Matthew followed Leanna to the president's office.

"It's not easy to meet you nowadays, Leanna."

Leanna poured a cup of tea for Matthew before sitting across from him.

"Stop flattering me. So, what is it that our busy and remarkable Holy Doctor seeks if you aren't accompanying your wife at home at this hour? "What do you need from me?"

Matthew revealed his purpose in a joking manner.

"I have two favors to ask, Leanna."

Leanna appeared displeased as she was holding a cup in her hand.

"We are way past that at this point. I'll be angry if you keep saying that. Well, tell me. What's the matter?"

Matthew smiled and touched his nose before saying, "First, I want a detailed profile of the Cunninghams in Bainbridge."

Yann's enthusiastic hospitality made Matthew feel unsettled.

"I see you never come without a good reason. Fine. I'll have someone send the information to your shop this evening."

Naturally, she wouldn't refuse Matthew's requests.

"Thank you, Leanna. As for the second matter..."

Matthew paused for a moment as he cautiously looked around the room.

Then, he turned to Leanna and gave a signal through his eyes.

Leanna immediately understood the seriousness of the matter when she saw his signal.

Matthew said after she had instructed her subordinates to keep everyone away, "Secondly, I need your connections to help me gather news about Uncle Billy!" Leanna asked in confusion, "Billy Newman?"

Matthew added with a worried expression, "That's right! I haven't heard from him since I parted ways with him last time.

"I won't go into the details. But, please be careful as this involves the Nolans. Please handle this matter cautiously, and any news about Uncle Billy will do."
