Upon hearing the crown prince's shout, Matthew immediately played dead and swiftly leaped away from his original position using both his hands and feet. Just as he was about to take cover behind the bulletproof SUV, his body tensed up, and without hesitation, he forcefully changed his trajectory by rolling on the ground.

The bullet narrowly missed his scalp and struck the ground with a sharp sound. As Brett prepared to reload, Matthew disappeared from sight, hiding behind the car.

"Damn it, he actually managed to dodge it." Frustrated by his failed marksmanship twice in a row, Brett clenched his fist, and when he focused his gaze on Matthew, his pupils instantly contracted. "Damn it! Motherf*cker! Screw this! A rocket launcher!" Brett couldn't help but curse. According to the intelligence the Kellers had provided, these two were skilled fighters with a well-equipped group of subordinates. There hadn't been any mention of them possessing heavy firepower.

Of course, it wasn't the time to investigate the accuracy of the intelligence. Brett immediately performed a somersault while cursing under his breath. Before he could even get up, though, a deafening and echoing explosion rang out, and the terrifying shockwave sent him flying more than ten meters away.

The loud noise caught Fabian's attention. "What's going on? Where has the explosion come from?"

Due to the distance and suddenness of the explosion, his subordinates had no idea what had happened. By the time they realized what had happened, a raging fire had erupted on the mountaintop. "Maybe lightning struck a tree and caused a fire!" Fabian's mouth twitched as he looked up at the cloudless sky and the bright sunlight.

What a load of nonsense!

Meanwhile, the crown prince had accurately pinpointed his opponent's location while the sniper on the mountaintop fired at Matthew. With a single shot, he ensured that he could send the enemy to the afterlife "Boss, are you okay? You scared the hell out of me!"

As he said that, Matthew's face changed inexplicably. Just before he was hit, he was surprised to replace that the bullet had stopped in the air for half a second, giving him a brief moment to fake his death. "Damn, I thought that sniper was really skilled, but it turns out he's just a novice."

Upon hearing the crown prince's mockery, Matthew couldn't help but roll his eyes and ask while tending to his wound. "What? You seem disappointed that he didn't kill me." "No, you have no idea how worried I was when I saw you fall."

"Heh, you're still shameless. I've been signaling for ages, and you only just noticed."

The crown prince scratched his head awkwardly and chuckled. "I was just anxious; it took me a while to realize the direction you were pointing at, which was 7 o'clock."

At that moment, Matthew, who had finished treating his wound, suddenly leaned in and looked at the tear stains on the crown prince's face, wearing a mischievous smile. "Your Majesty, have you been crying?"

"Nonsense, I have a heart of stone. Why would I cry?"

After making up the excuse, the crown prince turned his head away and secretly wiped away the tear stains. Just as he turned his head, the crown prince suddenly noticed movement in the distance, the sound of birds taking flight from the woods. The commotion was approaching from all directions, getting closer to them.

"Oh my god, when will this end!"

Before he could finish complaining, Matthew grabbed his collar from behind. "Get in the car!"

Matthew jumped into the driver's seat and stomped heavily on the gas pedal. The SUV roared and sped away. However, not long after the car had left, Matthew slammed on the brakes again, frowning at the dense roadblocks ahead.
