Contempt flashed across Rocco's eyes as he watched Toby chuckle foolishly, lost in his fantasies. The princes of Montiria are a bunch of idiots, capable only of mindless rages! However, for the sake of his plans, Rocco remained deferential. "Congratulations, Prince-I

mean, future King Toby."

"Oh, please, please. It's all because I have you, Mr. Rocco. We're akin to Augustus Caesar and Marcus Agrippa." Toby chuckled as he descended, grabbing Rocco's hand. At that moment, they seemed like old friends. But both knew that if they ceased to be useful to each other, they'd be discarded without hesitation. Rocco grimaced as Toby held his hand. To think this man dare compare himself to Augustus Caesar-he's at best a minor general!

Soon, Toby gathered a large navy fleet and set sail for the Balira Sea behind Basha's Sacred Mount. To avoid detection, he ordered the flags lowered and replaced with those of the Seraphis Great Commercial Union.

Meanwhile, in the Royal Palace of Montiria, Iris knelt respectfully by the window, reporting to her father, King Gawain I, who furrowed his brows occasionally, nodded slightly, and even smiled. Observing Iris below, unfamiliar yet meticulous in her report, King Gawain I waved for her to come closer.

Iris, usually brash with everyone else, behaved like a docile girl only in the presence of her father.

"Iris, if you were to be the ruler of Montiria, would you have the confidence?"

Iris looked incredulously at her frail and aging father. "Father, I lack the confidence." She lowered her head, admitting her lack of understanding of governance, having lived a carefree life of leisure.

"No matter... You still have plenty of time to learn."

Iris looked up at the king in disbelief.

"Father, my abilities aside, Toby and Garrett..."

She didn't mention Gadel, for she believed he stood no chance against Toby and Garrett.

"Iris, as long as I remain on the throne, your brothers cannot do anything." King Gawain I spoke confidently, with the self-assurance of a monarch. "In the meantime, look through the memorials from across the palace."

Iris nodded silently. Unbeknownst to her, a transformation had begun within her a gradual awakening of the bloodline of the Montiria royal family One day, she would be a ruler comparable to King Gawain

Amidst the towering pile of memorials, Iris began unfamiliarly tallying taxes, population figures, and losses due to natural disasters.

King Gawain I looked upon Iris with delight, believing that he had found a suitable successor.

Behind Basha's Sacred Mount at the Balira Sea, Toby had no idea that while he was away, his younger sister had taken advantage of his absence.

"Mr. Rocco, we've reached the rear of Basha's Sacred Mount. What's next?"

Rocco looked at the towering mountain before them and

responded, "Have all ships aim their main and secondary cannons at 24 degrees south latitude. Fire all

cannons three minutes from now."

Rocco's orders echoed down the line. Cannons on dozens of warships aimed at a single point on Basha's Sacred Mount.

"Fire all cannons!" Rocco's roar echoed through the intercom. Instantly, the deafening roar of cannons filled the air as shells rained down on Basha's Sacred Mount.
