Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)
Chapter 3166 Crashing Into the Palace

After the press conference ended, Garrett stepped down from the stage and approached Clara. "Next time, don't hire such a foolish reporter as an actor. He couldn't even properly ask the pre-arranged questions." Garrett had a negative impression of the reporter from earlier. The back-and-forth between them was so staged that anyone could tell it was fake, and the actual effect was far from ideal.

Clara, who was leisurely eating pastries, raised her head at his words, a displeased look crossing her face. "Are you doubting my ability to replace the right people?"

Seeing Clara's haughty demeanor, a flicker of anger appeared in Garrett's eyes. This obnoxious woman-if it isn't that I need your help right now, I wouldn't even acknowledge your existence. However, his years of experience as a prince allowed Garrett to quickly suppress his inner dissatisfaction, and he smiled warmly. "Look at you, Lady Clara; how could I possibly blame you?"

Clara glanced at Garrett's smile and scoffed inwardly. She had seen plenty of men like him-pretending to be gentle in front of her, trying to win her favor and attention. She always looked down on such behavior. She believed that men were unreliable when it mattered most; only personal strength was true strength.

Upon returning to her castle, she looked at Garrett again. "Are you sure that once this press conference is broadcast, it will destabilize Montiria?"

"There's a fifty percent chance," Garrett replied, shaking his head slightly. He had no clear understanding of the current situation in Montiria. If his sixth brother had indeed purged the court with ruthless measures, then at least half of the court officials would be dead by now, and the remaining would be loyal to Gadel. In that case, this press conference might end up being nothing more than idle chatter.

"But whether this plan succeeds or not doesn't really matter. We have a new strategy lined up."

Clara looked at Garrett in confusion. "What could you possibly do now, beyond creating international pressure?"

Garrett glanced at Clara, wondering how someone with such a limited mind could look down on all men.

"There's a flight from Dornia that will pass over Montiria. We just need that plane to crash right into Gadel's palace."

"You're insane!" Clara was horrified by Garrett's reckless plan. A plane crash that killed the King of Montiria would trigger intense investigations from both Dornia and Montiria. If the truth came out, Garrett, herself, and even her father, Earl Ezekiel Birol, would be stripped of their titles and imprisoned for life.

Garrett stared intently at Clara, his tone cold. "A plane crash will leave no traces. Once Gadel is dead, Montiria will descend into chaos, giving me the perfect opportunity to return and reclaim the throne with the help of my loyal followers."

Garrett's words were laced with temptation, causing Clara to waver.

He continued, "Once I become king, I can grant you anything you desire."

"Alright!" Clara gritted her teeth and agreed. She then went to contact the nearest flight's captain and co-pilot, using a combination of threats and incentives.

As Garrett watched Clara walk away, a sneer appeared on his lips. What an idiot of a woman. Once I succeed in regaining the throne, the first thing I'll do is take your life!
