Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)
Chapter 3248 Throwing Money Around Like It's Nothing

"Mortimer, are we really buying all this?" someone asked, looking around with excitement and disbelief.

Mortimer thought about it for a second before shrugging. "Yeah, basically anything that'll make us money-just not the flashy cars or, you know, the other stuff."

That was all the cue the room of rich businessmen needed. The chatter stopped, drinks were set down, and phones were whipped out. They started dialing the bank governors in Montiria like their lives depended on it.

"Hey, is this the Dominion Bank? Yeah, I want to buy up everything you're selling-minus the sports cars and a few things here and there. Yep, you heard me right. All of it."

"So, you don't think I can cover it? Alright, how much are we talking? 250 million Dornian Emeralds? Come on, that's nothing. Let me wire you 100 million as a down payment right now."

It was late. Half asleep, one of the bank governors decided to humor them as he thought it was a scam. He gave out his account info, ready to laugh it off.

Moments later, ping! "Your account has been credited 100 million."

The bank governor stared at his phone, stunned. His young wife, who had been dozing off next to him, woke up annoyed by the noise. Yet her irritation vanished when she peeked over his shoulder and saw the ridiculous amount of zeros. She slipped into her new Balenciaga nightdress, snuggled up to her husband, and flashed him a playful smile-clearly ready for another sleepless night.

Meanwhile, every bank governor in Montiria was getting similar calls. They initially thought they were being pranked, but their skepticism soon gave way to sheer astonishment as the massive amounts started hitting their accounts.

"Wow, throwing money around like it's nothing... that's a wild feeling," a bald guy remarked, rubbing the few strands of hair on his head.

He mused, Even with a fortune of 100 million, I don't throw money around like that. Any deal over a couple of million? I'm usually triple-checking everything. Yet, watching these bank governors go from dubious to practically kissing the ground? Yeah, I could get used to this.

"Honestly, I didn't expect this," another businessman chimed in. He looked feeble, but inside, he was thinking, I thought I was just here to help. Instead, I'm making bank and having a blast! "So, how much of Montiria do we actually own now?" the man asked, breaking the celebratory mood.

Mortimer quickly did some mental math. After everything's settled, we'll still have about 300 million in cash. Yeah, we've definitely shaken things up in Montiria.

It made sense. People were

struggling to stay afloat, so they'd

been mortgaging their properties like crazy. So, it was so easy to scoop up assets for a fraction of their value, with some going for just eight billion.

Someone chimed in, "Mortimer, I crunched the numbers. It looks like we control at least 35% of Montiria's assets now-all under Mr. Matthew Lawson's name."

When Matthew finally made it to Montiria, he'd pretty much be running the place. He could casually stroll down the street, and odds were that a third of the people he passed would owe him rent.

Mortimer replied, "Good. We still have 300 million in cash, but now the real challenge is getting all these businesses back on their feet."

The business game between Matthew and Garrett had left many companies in shambles. Many had shut down, while others were barely holding on.

Up until now, that wasn't their

concern. Now that they owned

everything, they had no choice but to

step in, reorganize, and get things

rolling again. Letting those

properties sit there doing nothing wasn't an option.
