The ministers, eager to escape, felt a growing dread. None of them wished to linger another moment with Gadel, whom they regarded with deep suspicion. The atmosphere in Montiria had been one of mutual respect and cordiality. Minor errors were part of the process, but now Gadel seemed poised to betray their trust.

As twilight descended, stretching long shadows over the palace grounds, Gadel's gaze swept over the guards, their hands poised threateningly on their sword hilts. journalists huddled nervously in a corner. His voice, low and menacing, cut through the silence like a cold wind. "In your report, only include my pleasant exchange with the Elder of Catbay. Eliminate any traces of hesitation or doubt. Is that understood?"
