Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew) -
Chapter 3301 The Watson Family Heir
Cole's mother finally let out a long sigh of relief, tears streaming down her face. Dear, our son has found a good teacher. Please, watch over him...
Matthew helped Cole to his feet and looked at him with a serious expression. "Now that you've called me your teacher, you must be prepared to endure hardship."
Cole nodded earnestly, determination clear in his eyes. "I can handle any hardship."
At that, Matthew turned to Cole's mother and said, "It's getting late. Tomorrow morning, have Cole come replace me at the Martial League. Just tell the gatekeeper you're looking for Matthew Larson." As Matthew began walking away, Cole shouted after him, "Sir, take care!"
A small smile tugged at Matthew's lips. This boy... he's got potential. While Cole might not have much worldly knowledge, his perseverance and devotion to his mother were traits that most people lacked. Now, with those two traits, he could easily develop everything else, especially under Matthew's personal guidance. But even just by following Matthew around, Cole's eyes would be opened to a broader world.
Even Shawn Warde hadn't expected to experience so many wild, adrenaline-filled events before joining Matthew-like the fierce battle against Iris at the foot of Basha's Sacred Mount or the chase through the high seas near Dornia. Any one of those exploits could make a name for someone.
Matthew found the familiar car outside the residential area but noticed Shawn wasn't inside. So, he reached for his phone to call but suddenly heard Shawn's voice from a distance. "Boss, over here!"
Matthew turned to see Shawn
standing next to a group of men
writhing on the ground in pain. As he walked over, Shawn gave him a quick rundown of what had happened, and he gazed slightly wide-eyed at the Watson Family's young scion lying among the groaning men. Matthew hadn't expected the young scion to be so reckless, charging in like this.
Squatting in front of the scion, gazing at his fearful eyes, Matthew asked Shawn, "What did you do to him? He looks terrified."
"I just dislocated his arms, and that's how he reacted."
Matthew sighed softly, looking at the
young scion. Go back and tell your family that the one who did this to you is named Matthew Larson. If they want revenge, they can come replace me. If they're too scared..." His gaze darkened, death filling his eyes as he continued in a cold voice, "Come here again looking for trouble, and you'll die."
As he spoke, an overwhelming malice erupted from Matthew's body, his clothes fluttering as if caught in an unseen wind. It was the kind of aura forged from countless life-or-death battles, something that even a fellow grandmaster like Mortimer would replace impressive. However, for the Watson heir, a spoiled rich kid who spent his days indulging in luxury and women, it was too much. He frothed at the mouth and passed out from fear.
Suddenly, a foul stench filled the air-the Watson heir soiled himself in his unconscious state.
Matthew glanced at the other men lying on the ground and said casually, "Your bones should realign themselves in about thirty minutes. It'll hurt a little, but you'll be fine. When you leave, don't forget to take your young sir back with you and remember my name." With that, Matthew and Shawn walked off, leaving the group sprawled on the ground, creating quite the spectacle for anyone passing by.
Half an hour later, the men started to feel sensations returning to their numbed limbs. Soon after, the sound of bones popping back into place echoed through the air, followed by their agonized screams. Though the pain didn't last long, sweat beaded on their foreheads from the intense discomfort.
They glanced at their unconscious, foul-smelling young sir, exchanging bewildered looks, unsure of what to do next.
