Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew) -
Chapter 3303 Errol Hervey
The next morning, Matthew, dressed in a fitted long coat instead of his Summit Warden uniform, strolled toward the Martial League office with Shawn at his side.
The Dewsbury branch of the Martial League was far more impressive than the one in Hulwin when Matthew first arrived. A four-story, retro-style building with a large sign bearing the words "Martial League" hung prominently. Matthew led Shawn in with a leisurely stride.
The receptionist at the front desk couldn't help but light up when she saw him. What a handsome man, she thought.
Matthew returned the smile and said, "I'm Matthew Larson. I'm here to see your vice president."
According to the information Stellan Warrington had provided, the vice president role was a temporary position created to ensure the Martial League ran smoothly while the president, Pontus Mirren, was in seclusion. The receptionist quickly addressed the approaching man. "Vice President."
Matthew glanced at the smiling man and then at the file in Shawn's hand. "You're Errol Hervey, the vice president?"
"That's right, it's me. I'm humbled that you remember my name, Mr. Summit Warden. It's an honor beyond measure."
Shawn lifted the file and held it beside Errol's face, inspecting the image within. He hesitated, then asked, "Are you sure this is you?"
Errol glanced at the photo in the file, which showed a slender, smiling man.
Shawn squinted at the image of the man's trim physique, then back at Errol's noticeably rounder figure.
"Yep, that's me!" Errol said with a smile, showing no sign of embarrassment. "I was much thinner back then."
"And what about the mole on your chin?" Shawn pointed to the mole in the picture.
Errol remained unfazed. "I found it rather unsightly, so I had it removed."
Just as Shawn was about to argue that there was no way this was the same person, Matthew stepped in changing the subject. "You mentioned waiting for me day and night, but I didn't see you at the welcome banquet."
Errol's smile faltered for a moment, and he sighed deeply. "Mr. Summit Warden, I've been dealing with quite a bit of hardship. You wouldn't
understand. Ever since Mr. Mirren
went into seclusion, I've had toet
shoulder all the responsibilities of the Martial League. Look at my face, aged with the weight of the world. And don't be fooled by my size-this weight gain is all stress-related."
Errol's comical explanation lightened the mood, and the three shared a brief moment of ease.
"Shall we talk further in my office, sir?" Errol suggested, leading Matthew and Shawn up the stairs.
As the building only had four floors, the elevator had been deemed unnecessary during construction.
Errol's office was surprisingly minimalistic, with just a desk, a chair, and a cabinet. That was it-three simple pieces of furniture.
Looking at the incredibly bare office,
Matthew couldn't help but remark
"It's impressive that after 30 years in the Martial League, your office remains so modest, Mr. Hervey."

Errol beamed with pride at Matthew's compliment. "You flatter me, sir. As officials of the Martial League, we must lead by example, promoting thriftiness and moderation."
Just as Errol was preparing to spout more self-praise, Matthew casually remarked, "But why are there such fresh marks on the floor, like something heavy was recently moved?"
