Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew) -
Chapter 3349 Schemes
"Garrett, I am going to Seraphis to seek revenge on Matthew."
In a quaint farm nestled within Dornia, Clara approached Garrett, who was busy grooming a horse. Dressed in a form-fitting outfit, she stood tall, her long legs accentuated by sleek black leather pants.
Clara exuded an air of confidence, yet her striking appearance failed to capture Garrett's attention. He wore a rugged denim outfit and a wide-brimmed hat, diligently brushing the horse with unwavering focus. When Clara noticed Garrett's indifference, frustration simmered beneath her composed exterior. "Garrett, I am talking to you!" she exclaimed, her voice tinged with impatience.
Finally, Garrett paused in his grooming, placing the steel comb gently on the ground. He cast a cool, indifferent glance at Clara. "Did you see it?"
"What am I supposed to see?" Clara peered into Garrett's handsome yet unremarkable features, confusion knitting her brow.
"The fear, the helplessness, and the indifference in my eyes," Garrett articulated calmly as if discussing the weather. In that moment, he appeared to be nothing more than an ordinary farmer, devoid of any grandeur or ambition.
The splendor and power he once commanded seemed to have dwindled into insignificance. All he desired now was to live a quiet life in this corner of the world, replaceing solace in simplicity.
Years later, he might boast to others, "I once was a prince of immense power."
But that would be the extent of his reminiscence.
"Is Matthew enough to bring you down to this level?" Clara's voice dripped with scorn and disbelief. She found it hard to accept that Garrett had lost his fighting spirit over such trivial setbacks. It was as if she sensed a façade behind his current demeanor. "Indeed, I am afraid," he replied, his tone steady and unwavering. Clara's mockery seemed to not affect him.
He swung himself onto the back of
the horse before him, grasping the reins firmly.. Respected Clara, you may pursue trouble with Matthew on your
h. However, I must warn
you, Matthew's journey has been akin to the rise of a legend. You will not prevail against him."
With that, Garrett squeezed the horse's belly. "Go!"
The horse surged forward, galloping into the vast expanse ahead. Clara stood there, her expression darkening as she watched Garrett ride away. "A coward so thoroughly frightened by Matthew. I truly was blind back then." She stormed off, her long legs striding with indignation.
She had expected Garrett to join her in seeking revenge upon hearing her intentions. Instead, he had outright rejected her.
As Garrett galloped through the
farm, a flicker of uncertainty crossed
his gaze. He noticed Clara's retreating figure but chose not to say a word. If she was determined to seek her demise by confronting Matthew, he felt powerless to stop her. After all that had transpired, Clara remained oblivious to a critical truth: Matthew had never been defeated.
Settling into her vehicle, Clara directed the driver, "Take me to the airport in Dornia."
The driver hesitated, a pained expression crossing his face. "Miss, Sir instructed that you should not approach any airport, not even the train station."
Anger flared in Clara's eyes. How dare that useless Prince Garrett disregard her? Now, even a mere driver dared to defy her?
"Don't forget, I am the one who pays you every month." Clara glared icily at the driver.
Faced with her unwavering authority, the driver reluctantly started the vehicle, heading toward the airport in Dornia.
