Married By Mistake -
Chapter 21
LUNA
“Wait, where are we going, Camille?” I asked her.
“Just. ‘Don’t ask.” Camille said smiling as her eyes were on the road.
I looked around. It was dark and almost full of trees. It also doesn’t seem to be very crowded with cars because I haven’t seen anything we encounter yet. I was so nervous. I can’t call Dylan because my cellphone has no signal here.
“Camille, are you to throw my body here?”
“I was just instructed, no.” She says that makes me nervous.
“Stop the car, Camille!”
The car stopped and Camille faced me. “Right on time. We’re here. Get out now, Luna.”
I hurriedly opened the door and went down. Before I could close the door, Camille spoke.
“You’ll thank me later.”
Disgusted I closed the door. After that, she pulled the car away. I rolled my eyes around.
My forehead furrowed when I saw a bright part of the forest. I approached there and was amazed to see the small candles on the ground illuminating the passage.
I don’t know but it seems to be pulling me to walk the targeted path of the candles.
“What took you so long?”
I looked up and saw Dylan standing behind a table. I feel strangely happy.
“Dylan!” I ran over to him and hugged him.
“Did you like what I did?” He pressed our foreheads together.
So, he was Camille’s accomplice. I still thought Camille was flirting with me because she wanted to marry my Dylan.
I noticed it was wearing a suit and tie. “Aren’t you hot in what you’re wearing?”
He tilted his head on the other side. “I felt aroused when your boobs touch my chest.”
I slapped him on the arm. “You surprised me.”
“Glad you appreciated it. I worked hard to set it up.” He led me to a chair and I sat there. He sat in the chair in front of me. He brings out a bouquet. “Flowers?”
“Thanks,” I said smiling.
When He flicked there was music playing and men came out holding plates. One by one it arranged our food.
“Say ‘ah’,” Dylan said as he handed me a spoonful of food.
I shot that and then did that back to him as well. I felt strangely happy these times. I feel like I’m going to die of ecstasy.
“May I have this dance, Baby Luna?”
I took his hand and stood up. I put my hand on his shoulder and his arm wrapped around my waist.
“You smell divine.” He said as he sniffed my shoulder.
I sighed softly and looked up at him. I hadn’t realized his face was so close. In the dim light, it seemed darker than ever, harder, and his superiority in age made him seem a world away from me.
“Why did you do this?” I whispered.
He didn’t smile. His dark eyes held mine and he almost stopped dancing. His body moved slowly against me as the music blared around them.
“Don’t you have any idea?” He asked quietly.
My lips parted on a held breath. His hand slid up into the thickness of my hair and grasped it, holding my face at just the right angle as he bent toward me.
“Because of this.” he breathed.
My eyes widened with faint surprise as his hard lips brushed across mine once, twice, in a lazy exploration that was pure seduction.
The lean fingers in my hair contracted, making me gasp so that my lips parted. He made a sound deep in his throat and began to move again to the music. His mouth didn’t touch mine, but hovered just above my lips, making my head spin as we danced.
My eyes met his shyly as I felt his coffee-scented breath on my lips.
“Dylan ..” I protest.
“No?” He smiled. It was a different smile from any I’d ever seen on a man’s face before. It threatened and seduced at the same time. He tugged my head back farther on his shoulder and executed a turn that brought one long, powerful leg in between both of hers, a contact that made me gasp out loud even as his mouth moved closer and I breathed him.
I was hardly aware of the music. He did it again, and again, his eyes blazing into mine, his body an instrument of the most exquisite torture. I caught at his arm when the contact worked on me so deeply that my knees went weak.
“Are you going to faint on me, Baby Luna?” He whispered, sliding his cheek against mine his breath was warm on my ear. He nibbled the lobe delicately.
I shivered. He laughed softly and stopped as the music ended. I couldn’t look at him as he escorted me back to the table; I was overwhelmed by the sensations I’d felt. Sensuality was new to me. So was desire, but surely that was what I’d felt shivering through my body at the veiled threat in his words.
“Tell me you don’t want my mouth, Luna.” He murmured, letting his gaze fall to my parted lips.
“If you don’t stop that, I’m going to melt on the floor,” I said in a husky whisper. “Shame on you.”
“Hmm. Before you melt into the floor because of me, I want to do something that will surely leave you breathless.”
Before I could speak he knelt in front of me. I was shocked at what he did. Someone snatched it from the pocket of his suit and I gasped when I saw the red box he pulled out.
Dylan opened the box. I covered my mouth. The corner of my eye heats up.
“Wil-“
“Yes!” I couldn’t help myself anymore and hugged him around his neck.
He sat on the ground as he hugged my waist. I took the ring right out of the box he held my hand and put it on my finger.
“Wait, wait. You haven’t finished me up”
His breath caught as my mouth opened on his, forcing his lips apart with its expert pressure. My eyes closed and I slid my arms under his and around him. He was powerfully built. I could feel the muscles rippling as he held me, feel the strength of him. I floated between heaven and earth, and my body began to tauten until it was almost painful with a tension I’d never experienced before.
As if he sensed it, his hand slid to the base of my spine and jerked, dragging my h**s against his so that I felt the blatant reality of a man’s physical arousal.
I gasped against his mouth. He lifted his head. His eyes were darker than ever, narrow, intense.
“Let me finish. Don’t be rude.” He said smilingly.
“Ah, okay.” I shyly said.
He shook his head and sigh. “Will you marry me?”
“Isn’t it obvious?” I said while raising my finger with a ring.
“Nope.” He smiled sweetly.
“Not my problem.”
