Marry Ex's Uncle After Divorcement -
Chapter 311
Chapter 311 Could She Come Back?
Charlie didn't go to see Rose yesterday since it was inconvenient for him to go to the hospital in a wheelchair.
So he asked, "How's Rose? Is she okay?"
Mrs. Calsis sighed. "She cries a lot. She loves her baby very much. But the baby is gone. It is a disaster to her." She felt depressed as well.
Standing aside, Theresa just listened to their discussion about Rose, silent.
When Theresa turned around to leave, Charlie said to her, "Come here please." Although he had quarrels with her, he was polite to her when others were around.
Theresa walked over and sat next to him. After all, she was here to have breakfast with her kids. She was feeding Leonard and Ben while aware of Pat's gaze on her. It was the most terrible thing for her to have breakfast with her enemy at the same table. 'Maybe I should tell Charlie what Pat did yesterday. She thought, but then she gave up this idea. 'It's useless to do that. Pat is Charlie's brother, who gets along with all the whole Calsis. Nobody in the Calsis would fight against Pat for me. I shouldn't be so naïve."
Pat continued, "Charlie, I hope that Rose can return and live here. I have discussed it with mom. You know she is not well. I don't want her to live in the Watsons anymore." He was clear that it was Charlie who asked Rose to live in the Watsons just for the sake of Theresa. So if he wanted Rose back, he should discuss it with Charlie. Actually, he didn't need Charlie's approval; he had made the decision together with Mrs. Calsis. Besides, Rose just lost her baby so he knew that Charlie wouldn't say no to his suggestion.
Charlie said, "Okay. I agree with you. She can live here."
Pat said, "Great. I told Rose about it yesterday and she insisted that you wouldn't agree. I wonder what has happened between you and Rose. You know, she used to follow you everywhere. But now she seems to be afraid of you." He then gave Theresa a glance significantly. In his eyes, Charlie had been aloof to Rose since he married Theresa.
Charlie had lived with Pat since his childhood, so he understood Pat's connotation. He said, "I don't dislike Rose. Maybe sometimes I am too strict with her. But I always hope that she will live a happy life. Jimmy is not a good man, is he? But Rose loves him so much that she obeys him blindly.
Pat agreed with him.
