Chapter 324 I Miss Them

Theresa hadn't expected that Cristina would guess it right so quickly. She said, "I will talk with you later." Cristina knew that Theresa didn't want her kids to get worried so she avoided talking about it when the kids were around. Cristina then nodded. "Okay. Just talk with Leonard and Ben. They must be hungry now. But they keep refusing to eat."

"Listen, Leonard, Ben." Theresa tried to persuade them into staying in the Calsis and obeying Cristina.

Finally, the kids were willing to have dinner.

Jonathan asked the servants to bring some food to the kids' bedroom. After the servants put the dishes on the table, Cristina and the kids began to have their dinner.

Standing at the door, Mrs. Calsis and Jonathan both heaved a sigh of relief. Then they left.

Keith was also in the Calsis because Roderick asked him to give Charlie the acupuncture treatment. After he finished, he was ready to leave.

Jonathan said to Charlie, "Sir, Ms. Lagarde is here and Leonard and Ben are having dinner."

"Ask Cristina to stay here for some days. She should take care of the kids," ordered Charlie. Jonathan said, "Okay." Then he turned around to lead Keith out of the house.

Cristina was having dinner with the kids. When she almost finished, she saw Rose walking in.

Rose said, "Cristina, I have something to talk about with you."

"Take a seat," said Cristina. "Are you not well? Sit down please."

Rose had spent much time on the bed. It was the first time for her to walk around these days. Looking at Cristina and the kids having dinner, she said sadly, "I lost my baby because of Theresa."

Cristina felt sorry for Rose when she said that she lost her baby. After all, the baby was the biggest victim. But when Rose blamed it on Theresa, Cristina frowned tightly and asked, "Did Theresa make you lose your baby?"

"She lured Jimmy and I saw it."

"No! What are you talking about?" said Cristina. "Let me tell you, it's all the man's fault. You shouldn't blame

Theresa. Besides, I don't believe that she would do such a bad thing."

Rose knew that Cristina thought ill of Jimmy but highly of Theresa, so she didn't show her disapproval but sighed. "Well, I am not here to talk about it. I want to tell you that Theresa and Uncle Charlie are going to get divorced. Uncle Charlie might want you to look after the kids. Maybe he will marry you after the divorcement." "Really? That's great," Cristina said in a weird tone. 'If so, I will definitely punish that bad

man.'

Rose averted her gaze from Cristina to Leonard and Ben. "Your kids are so cute. You are so lucky." Cristina looked at Rose. "Don't be so sad. You are so young. I believe that you will have your kid. Actually, my mother lost her babies twice before she gave birth to me because she was not quite strong. So what you should do is to take good care of yourself for the sake of your health. Everything will be okay." -Rose nodded. "Thanks." Cristina's words of comfort consoled her.

After a few days, Johnson's wound was almost recovered. In the morning, Theresa helped him take off the bandages. Seeing the wound almost gone, she heaved a long sigh of relief.

Johnson said, "I am fine." He had found Theresa keeping an eye on him these days. He knew that she was worried about him, but he didn't want her to be so nervous. Theresa nodded. "All right."

"How about the kids?" asked him. "I miss them. When will you bring them to see me?"
