Chapter 369

Charlie grunted reluctantly, "When are you coming back?"

"I don't know."

"Are you trying to take my sons away from me?" He looked at her suspiciously.

Theresa was speechless, wondering what made him think that. She did have the intention, but it was not the

right time. She had thought that if one day she really had to leave Charlie with her children, she would have to deal with the company first. She couldn't watch it go bankrupt even if her father was okay with it. They had so many employees. Maybe her father would have to take legal responsibility.

With this in mind, Theresa said, "I'm going out to breakfast and then to Cameron's Residence. I'll be back as

soon as I can!"

"Okay," Charlie agreed reluctantly, "but you have to give me a reward."

"What do you want?"

"You know it," he said softly, staring at her lips.

Probably because of his blazing eyes, Theresa understood what he meant. She sighed and gave him a kiss on the chin. "Okay?" His stubble was a little scratchy, but she didn't hate it at all.

Charlie whispered, "Hmm." He looked indifferent, but there was a happy look behind his eyes.

Theresa sighed again as she got up from the couch. She went to wash up and then wake the children up. When it was all done, she took the children out.

Cristina had booked a hotel and Theresa had the Calsis family's driver drive them there.

At the hotel restaurant, Theresa asked Cristina, "Why did you choose this place?"

They both agreed that the food in the hotel was expensive and awful. It was surprising that Cristina chose this place.

"Eugene is staying at this hotel," Cristina said bluntly.

Theresa nodded. "So thoughtful!" Cristina had stayed up all night and come to see her so early in the morning! She had never seen Cristina this crazy before! Cristina had never been so attentive to Eugene even when they were in a relationship. 'Women are terrifying!' Theresa thought.

Cristina sat Theresa down next to her. "I thought about what I'd done with him all night. I don't know why I fell in love with him. He was so bad, but I thought he was so handsome back then! I want to kill myself right now."

"Uh, I don't think Eugene's that bad." Theresa knew Cristina was still angry. After all, Eugene had left without telling her, which had been quite a blow.

Cristina was not like other girls. She grew up in a single-parent home and didn't believe in love at all. Eugene had pursued her and Theresa had encouraged her, so she finally accepted him.
