Chapter 380

Theresa looked at him. "Ben, what's wrong?"

Ben pursed his lips and looked at her worriedly.

Theresa sent a message to Cristina and squatted down. "What's wrong, baby?"

Ben turned to look at Charlie and then at Theresa. "Are you going to abandon me?" He took care of Charlie all the time and rarely made a scene and was not as possessive of Theresa as Leonard was. However, when Theresa took Leonard out, he was really afraid that Theresa would abandon him! He was afraid Mommy would leave him with Daddy and take Leonard away! He loved Daddy and didn't want to cause trouble for Mommy, but he would be sad if Mommy abandoned him.

Theresa looked into Ben's worried eyes and was surprised he thought that way. She did care more about Leonard who had recently fallen ill. She picked Ben up. "Nonsense. I love you."

Leonard asked, "Don't you love me?"

Theresa looked at the two children. "I love you both!" She noticed that Leonard was just as jealous as Charlie. Soon Charlie and Jonathan came over.

Jonathan asked, "Aren't Ms. Lagarde and Mr. Oneill back yet?"

They had been in the bathroom for a long time.

Theresa was speechless, wondering if they were dating in the bathroom. Just then, she got a message from

Cristina. [I'll be right out!]

Soon Cristina came running and Eugene followed her slowly.

Jonathan said to them, "We're going back. Ms. Lagarde, we'll give you a ride." Cristina had been showing up

almost every day lately and he was used to it.

Cristina said, "Thanks, but I have something to do." She touched her nose.

Jonathan turned to look at Eugene. "Mr. Oneill?"

"I'm going back to the hotel." Eugene had to go back to deal with Sarah. He was very annoyed. It wasn't Sarah's fault, but he was angry at the thought that he had been fooled by her. Theresa said, "Then we're leaving."

Cristina nodded.

They walked out of the restaurant and the Calsis family's driver was waiting at the door.

Theresa would go back with Charlie. She had gone out early this morning and hadn't given him his acupuncture yet.

Charlie had been focusing on his legs lately and rarely went to the office. He had been working at home and

spending a lot of time walking every day since he found out he could stand up.

The two children got in the car and Theresa said to Cristina, "See you."

Cristina said, "Hmm. I'll take a cab."

"Hmm."

When Charlie and Theresa left, Cristina realized that Eugene had been staring at her. "Why are you staring at

me?"

"You like Charlie very much, don't you?" Eugene asked.

Cristina sneered and said deliberately, "None of your business! Charlie is a nice guy and the father of my sons. Of course I like him."

"You and Theresa are good friends. How can you like the same man?"

"But we're pretty close. You've seen it."
