Chapter 646

Theresa's house wasn't big, so he believed he could replace the children anyway.

Before he opened the door of the boys' room, Theresa blocked his way.

Gazing at her, Charlie wondered what she wanted.

He doubted if she wanted to send the children to Dick.

Charlie snapped at her, "Move!"

"I can't let you take them away." Theresa looked at him on alert.

In the past, she loved him. However, he had become the biggest disaster in her life.

She knew he could turn her life upside down with a lift of a finger. He used to take her side, but now, he was her foe.

Charlie reached out to push her away. Theresa stood in front of the door motionlessly.

Afraid he would hurt her, he growled, "Are you nuts? You should go see a doctor."

She talked nonsense to his mother. Moreover, she wanted to stop him from taking his own sons back. Charlie was impressed by her stubbornness.

Looking at him, Theresa said, "Do you insist on taking them away? You don't love them at all."

If he did, he would care about their feelings.

Gazing at her, Charlie retorted, "Don't I love them? Even if I do not, I'm their father. Theresa, for the sake of our past, I can forgive you. But you cannot challenge my rock bottom."

If it were another person, he would have sent the kidnapper to the police station.

Charlie believed he was merciful enough for her. To be exact, he indulged her.

Pressing her lips together, Theresa gazed at him. "I won't let you take them away. If you want, call the police."

She'd instead let the police solve this matter.

Standing aside, Leah watched them and felt ridiculous. She walked over and said to Theresa, "Why do you provoke Charlie? They are his sons. Let him take them back home. If you offended Charlie, would it benefit you or our family?"

"Shut up!" Theresa glanced at Leah, who was watching the fun. Leah didn't know anything but insisted on chiming in.

Staring at Theresa, Charlie asked, "What do you want me to do so I can take my sons back home?"

"I'll never let you take them away unless I'm dead." Theresa gazed at him on alert.

Her words amused him.

Charlie believed she must be out of her mind.

However, he was determined to take the boys away.

He couldn't let them stay in Theresa's house.

Gripping her arm, he said, "Let's talk next door."

Theresa refused, "No!"

Charlie came in with his assistant. He could let his men take the children away as soon as she left.

However, as soon as she refused, Charlie scooped her up and carried her to the next-door room.

It was Theresa's bedroom. Theresa struggled and hopped off his arms. When she was about to open the door, Charlie clung to the door tightly to stop her.

Theresa patted him in a panic. "Let me out!"

"What on earth do you want?" Charlie asked, "You told my mother I'd bullied you, didn't you?"

Theresa replied, "I didn't. She misunderstood it."

"Now you insist on keeping Leonard and Ben here." Charlie turned around quickly, trapping her between his chest and the door. Staring at her, he added, "Can I take it as you are hitting on me? We've only broken up for a few days. Do you regret it now?"

Theresa hid his sons and said something weird to his mother. Charlie couldn't understand what was in her mind.

Under his disdainful gaze, Theresa retorted, "I'm not. As I said, I only want the boys."
