Chapter 654

Leticia asked, "What happened?"

"We went to pick up Master Leonard and Master Ben earlier but encountered Dick White. Mr. Calsis should be angry."

Upon hearing Dick's name, Leticia was tense. "Did you meet him? I hope you didn't fight."

"No, we didn't." Fortunately, Theresa left her room on time, so they didn't make a fuss.

Leticia asked, "How about the children's matter? Did Charlie talk to Theresa? How did it go?"

Jonathan answered, "Not as well as expected. Mr. Calsis insisted on taking the boys back. Ms. Cameron was so anxious that she shed tears. She also said... If Mr. Calsis wanted the boys back, he should file a lawsuit. Mr. Calsis has decided to sue her."

"No way!" Leticia refused. "Is Charlie out of his mind? I sent him to coax Theresa instead of forcibly taking the children back. What will Leonard and Ben do? Also, Theresa is pitiful. I've talked to Robert. If Charlie couldn't convince Theresa to return, we would deal with that matter ourselves. He doesn't need to take care of this matter."

Leticia was depressed, realizing Charlie would mess up the matter if they allowed him to solve it by himself.

If he were adept at dealing with those matters, how would he have kicked out Theresa and his sons? Looking at Leticia, Jonathan said, "Ms. Cameron won't allow the children to come back home in this case."

He had witnessed Theresa's attitude earlier.

Charlie had to sue her in court.

Leticia prompted, "Go talk to Charlie. He cannot sue her. Neither his father nor I would agree."

Jonathan was tongue-tied but had to obey her.

However, he didn't understand as Leticia used to care about her grandchildren the most in the past.

She was always concerned about all the children's matters.

After knowing Theresa had taken the boys away, Jonathan thought she must be enraged and would

support Charlie in using aggressive means to take them back...

However, after Leticia met Theresa earlier today, her attitude changed abruptly.

"Hurry! Tell Charlie about my opinion," Leticia urged him.

Jonathan nodded and went upstairs.

Charlie had taken off his suit jacket after entering his bedroom. Sitting on the couch, he stared at the gem ring, which he gave it to Theresa before.

At that time, Cristina came to the house and made her upset. Charlie bought the ring to please Theresa and prove she was his only woman.

Thinking of that, he realized Theresa had known Cristina at that time.

However, she lied to him, and he believed her.

Charlie thought she was indeed evil.

Jonathan entered his room. "Excuse me, Mr. Calsis."

"I asked you to contact a lawyer. How did it go?" Charlie looked at him.

Jonathan answered, "Mrs. Calsis forbade me to sue Ms. Cameron."

Charlie was surprised, gazing at him. "Are you sure my mother said it?"

Jonathan nodded. "Yeah. 100%"

He also wondered why, as Charlie did. However, he had to believe that was what Leticia wanted for real.

He added, "Don't you think Mrs. Calsis is so weird today? After meeting Ms. Cameron, she seemed to be bribed."

"Theresa is always good at deceiving others." Pinching the ring tightly, Charlie continued, "She's a liar. I was also deceived by her earlier. When she took the kids away, she also lied to Morn."

"Shall we sue her?" Jonathan reminded him, "If Ms. Cameron was convicted of kidnapping, she would have a criminal record, and it would impact her future."
