Chapter 693

Sarah was annoyed by Theresa, who seemed to be blaming her. "Hey, Theresa, what do you mean by that crap?"

It was grandpa who refused to let her take care of him! She did nothing wrong.

Why did it sound as if she was the wrongdoer in Theresa's words?

Charlie cast a glance at Sarah. Apparently, he didn't like Sarah, and neither did he understand why this woman was here.

Generally speaking, he would drive Sarah away at the sight of her.

However, Theresa was present, and he knew how badly Theresa disliked Sarah.

So he deliberately spoke contrary to Theresa. "I think she did relatively well. At least she is here with grandpa wholeheartedly. Unlike some people, being so close to Dick, trying to abduct my son all day long!" "What did you say?" Theresa looked at Charlie in disbelief. He should be... defending Sarah?

Theresa said angrily, "Charlie, you blind? Do you think she really cares about grandpa? If she does, would grandpa become like this? Oh, you're really out of your mind!"

Theresa drew a bottom line for Charlie, which was that he should never be on Sarah's side.

Charlie and Theresa both knew what kind of person Sarah was

However, this man actually defended Sarah!

"Out of mind? I?" retorted Charlie, "Better than you, at least. Yeah, I see. You just don't want to see me with her, huh? You know what? I have this very problem, that I love to do whatever would make you feel bad! Weird, right?"

Theresa quietly heard their bickering and was surprised by Charlie's words.

She somehow felt surprised.

She knew it! Charlie kind of liked her!

It was this woman, Theresa, who was a total stirrer, that made Charlie turn a cold face at her.

Now, Charlie was defending her, which made Sarah more than happy.

She stood up, and approached Charlie. "Charlie, did you mean it?" asked Sarah as she stared into his eyes,

"Of course!" Charlie tried so hard to endure his disgust at this woman, "You want to be with me, don't you? I'll give you the chance now!"

Sarah was so moved. "Thank you, Charlie! I know I was wrong in the past. I was heartless in the past, but I will make it up for you with the rest of my life."

Sarah then looked at Charlie gratefully.

The scene broke Theresa's heart.

Did Charlie forget how Sarah laughed at him when he had to sit in a wheelchair?

Tears welled up in Theresa's eyes.

"Good! Charlie! You're good!" Theresa spat, glaring at Charlie, "If you don't marry her, I'll take you a ballless fucking eunuch!"

She then turned to her boys. "Let's go."

Leonard glared at Charlie, and silently and angrily followed Theresa.

However, Ben, as he saw dad standing together with Sarah, felt like crying.

Dad said so clearly that he had nothing to do with this woman. But he should...

Ben trusted dad so much!

His belief in dad was shaken.

As Theresa was to leave with the boys, Sarah suddenly said, "Wait."

Theresa stopped and Sarah walked over. Facing Theresa, Sarah didn't hide her arrogance. "You may go, but Charlie's children need to stay. Who gave you the right to take Charlie's children away as you want? He may have lingering feeling for you, but I don't."

This woman really considered herself Charlie's wife now. She was good at role change.

Theresa returned fire with full disdain. "You're telling me and my boys what to do?"
