King could feel himself being pulled in by her smile, leaning in to plant a kiss.

But, of course, someone had to ruin the moment.

Isaac appeared behind them, his face as cool as ever. He reached out his small hand, blocking King's mouth. "Daddy, I want Kailee."

It was clear; he wanted to play with Kailee, hoping his dad would call her over.

Isaac was sharp. He knew the enemy of his enemy could be his ally. If Dad liked Kailee, then this lady didn't stand a chance.

This was the first time Isaac had openly told King he wanted someone to play with.

King wouldn't even think of saying no and immediately called Kailee.

Kailee, over at the Sanchez household, was buzzing with excitement, having dolled herself up for the occasion.

Stepping into the mansion, she felt she was on the brink of becoming the lady of the house!

A mansion, no less! A place no woman had ever set foot in.

But as the door opened, she was met with an Eastern face.

King, having taken off his mask, his face identical to Isaac's, was grinning and cozying up to another woman.

Spotting her, King pointed towards Isaac.

"Kailee, why don't you keep Isaac company? I'm taking Brielle out for a bit."

Rascal.

Kailee wanted to scream those words but held back.

Her brother had warned her, if she stirred up trouble, he wouldn't come to clean up the mess.

Brielle, watching Kailee's youthful face twist with anger, felt a twinge of sympathy.

Only King could pull something like this.

King, eager to leave, wrapped an arm around her.

This was the first time Brielle had invited him out!

Brielle herself was surprised by how easy it was to just ask him out. What had she been making things so difficult for herself?

Once in the car, Brielle couldn't help

but glance back to see Kailee,

Qu

fuming at the doorstep, probably

cursing King a hundred times over in her mind.

Brielle chuckled to herself, turning her gaze forward.

"Let's head to my office first. I stood someone up; I should at least explain, and introduce you to my friends."

That last part hit King right in the heart.

An introduction to her friends?

Did Max get this privilege?

Nope.

"Sure."

He was down for anything she said.

Meanwhile, back in the living room Kailee, after sighing and grumbling to herself, noticed Isaac playing alone with Noir, feeling a surge of frustration.

"Little bug, we need to come up with a plan. If you don't act soon, your daddy's going to be snatched away by that temptress."

Kailee was quick on her feet, too, realizing she should team up with Isaac.

Sitting next to him, she tried to sweet-talk him.

"Little bug, we've known each other long enough. You know I'm quite

gentle and virtuous. I've even swallowed my pride to chase after your dad, and I've been nice to you, right? If I end up marrying your dad, I'll be a kind wife, plus I'm super easy-going."

No sooner had she finished her spiel than her phone rang.

Seeing the caller ID, she was livid. After pressing the answer button, she let loose a tirade.

"Marry your foot! If you harass me again, believe me, my brother will have your head! Get lost! I wouldn't give you the time of day!" Hanging up, she turned back to comforting Isaac.

"I'll be good to you, too, cook for you, and even if you mess up, I won't scold or hit you. I've never cursed at anyone in my life." Isaac looked up at her.

Liar.

Women are indeed the biggest liars.
