She swallowed hard, gripping the card like it was her lifeline.

"I'll go replace Alivia; the poor girl's probably going through hell right now. If anything happens to her, I won't be able to face Martha." Martha, Martha.

Daisy always had Martha's name on her lips, yet when Martha was overseas getting medical treatment, Daisy hadn't shown up even once. Kenzo toyed with his shattered smartphone, a smirk briefly crossing his lips.

"Mother and Aunt Martha, such a deep bond between sisters."

Daisy's face stiffened, avoiding his gaze.

Kenzo had little interest in these family dramas and waved his hand dismissively.

"I have other properties. You and Alivia can go live there."

The message was clear: leave.

A flash of elation crossed Daisy's eyes. She snatched the card and hurried out, dialing Alivia's number as soon as she left.

Alivia was sitting next to Tessa, who was cursing Aubree non-stop, her face red with fury.

When Daisy's call came through, impatience flickered in Alivia's eyes.

It was all Daisy's fault for being barren. If she or her brother had been Daisy's children, they wouldn't have been ousted by the Barnes family and lost all dignity.

"Alivia, are you even listening? I've been locked up by Andrew for so long, I feel like I'm losing my mind. You have to help me."

Alivia looked down on Tessa as well. Tessa was nothing but an invalid, and with the Rowland family's downfall, she was now a spent force.

But even a spent force might have one last move.

A sly smile curved Alivia's lips as she retrieved a bottle filled with concentrated sulfuric acid.

She was a researcher and had quietly accumulated a stockpile of this dangerous substance. Now, it was finally going to serve its purpose.

"Listen, this is concentrated sulfuric acid. Since Aubree has made your life a living hell, why not ruin her pretty face? Isn't that what caught Andrew's eye in the first place? He's been with her so long he's grown attached, but what if she became a monster? Then his attention would return to you."

Her voice was seductive, coaxing Tessa.

Tessa had been confined for days and was on the brink of a breakdown. If she hadn't escaped, she might have gone mad.

How dare Andrew treat her like this!

A gleam of resolve flashed in her eyes. She would not only turn Aubree into a pariah, but also obliterate her beautiful face.

She took the bottle from Alivia, her hand trembling slightly.

She had never done something like this before. Back when the Rowland family was still influential, she had only used Andrew's name to keep people at bay.

The idea of using acid to disfigure someone terrified her.

But she had always believed in Alivia's guidance, and with it, she had managed to exact her revenge on Aubree.

She had left a permanent shadow in Aubree's heart.

Alivia moved closer and patted her on the shoulder.

"Darling, happiness is something you have to fight for. Andrew has been good to you for years. You've always held yourself back while Aubree shamelessly threw herself at him. If you were Andrew, who would you choose? You were just too proud before."

Any lingering hesitation in Tessa dissipated upon hearing those words.

"I understand."

Alivia's lips curved again. She pulled out a piece of paper, scribbled an address on it, and handed it to Tessa.

"This is where Aubree is filming right now. You'll see her when you get there. Seize the opportunity because if you fail, it'll be much hardento get another chance."

Tessa nodded, clutching the glass bottle as she headed out the door.

Aubree was indeed on set today. The film's production was moving swiftly, much to everyone's surprise, and smiles were abundant among the cast and crew. John called Brielle to inform her that they would wrap up in a few days and to inquire if she had any plans for a wrap party.

Brielle pondered for a moment before replying, "Let's have dinner together. What is Aubree up to today?"

"She's busy as always, but there's this guy who keeps showing up on set-do you know Mr. Clements from Clements Corporation? Their

last names are the same, could it be that Aubree is...?" Narugi

Rich heirs often mingled in the entertainment industry, drawn by the allure of fame to complement their wealth and power.

"No, Mr. Clements has nothing to do with Aubree; that's harassment. Is he still there today?"

John turned to look at the quiet man standing nearby, "He's here."

A cold smirk crossed Brielle's face, "I'm on my way. I'll also see what everyone feels like eating."

Brielle arrived quickly, passing Andrew without so much as a glance his way.
