Axel looked at Hazel, clearly demanding an explanation to her calling him the daddy to Sana.

“Sana is so cute. You should be glad that I called you her daddy” Hazel replied, giggled and walked a few steps away.

“You know you should go get dressed”

“Sana” Axel called and the little girl looked at his face.

“Sir Axel”

“Once we are out, do not leave my side and if you are asked any questions, do not bother giving a response, I will do that, understood?”

“Yes, Sir Axel. Thank you so much” she grinned and Axel ruffled her hair once more before giving her cheek a pull.

Axel glanced at Hazel.

“How about a round before we leave?” He requested in a mind link and Hazel giggled.

“Sure. I’ll be in the bathroom”

“You guys are late” Rex informed, glancing at his wrist watch.

He was seated on a sofa in the living room of their father.

“Does that make you itchy?” Axel questioned.

“It sure does” Rex replied and got up on his feet.

“Let’s go have dinner with father. He has been waiting for a quite long time” he informed, adjusting his shirt before glancing over at the little girl, Sana.

“Who is she?” His brows raised.

“I cannot seem to remember when I asked you about who you were with” Axel replied and Rex huffed.

“Fine”

“Hey Hazel” he waved at her and Hazel was about to wave back at him but Axel took her hand and brought it down, holding her hand in his own hand.

“Talking to my woman in a flirty tone is not something that I would accept, Rex”

“I was not bring flirty” Rex defended himself.

“Oh yes, you were and it would be better if you do not do it anymore” he warned.

Rex wanted to say something but he stopped himself, took in a deep breath and let out a smile.

“Father is waiting” he walked forward, towards the dinning table.

Axel glanced at Hazel and Sana and they all walked after Rex, going to the dinning room.

“Greetings to you, father”

“Greetings to you, Alpha” Hazel greeted while Sana remained absolutely mute, not saying a word but bowing her head in respect to the Alpha.

“Welcome” the Alpha smiled at them and ushered them to take their seats, with his eyes fixated on Sana.

“Uhm… Who is she?” He questioned after they had all sat down.

“She is a little girl that I took in after seeing her dying on the roadside” Axel responded.

“A little girl dying by the roadside? A white wolf?” His brows raised.

“Yes, father. A white wolf”

“Axel!” Rex called.

“How can you take in a white wolf of all creatures? You very well know how weak and dirty they are. They are meant to be slaves who die one after the other by the roadside!”

Sana lowered her head and Hazel quickly took hold of her hands giving it a soft squeeze.

“Sana is a little girl. She has not even met her wolf side yet and you call her dirty and weak already? “

“Brother, you should know that the white wolves are one of our biggest strength. Without them, who would take care of our things? Leaving their offspring to die without pity is selfish!”

“You have never ever liked white wolves, Axel. Just like all of us, you have always disliked white wolves. What is with the sudden change? Is it because you found out that your….”

“Shut it!” Axel yelled and glared at Rex, knowing that he was about to reveal the truth about Hazel being a white wolf to her.

“Enough of the talking!” The Alpha brought order to the table and glanced at Axel, totally disappointed in the softness that his son was starting to exhibit towards the white wolves just because of Hazel.

This told him that he had to be quick in eliminating Hazel else things would go awry completely.

“Take the white wolf away. A white wolf is not allowed to dine with us” the Alpha ordered.

“Sir… Sir Axel” Sana called, her voice cracking.

“It’s fine, I will go out and wait for you outside” she got down from the chair.

“Sana” Axel called, his gaze on his father.

“Sit back” he ordered.

“But Sir Axel…”

“Sit Back!”

Sana quickly returned to her sitting position, hoping that things would not go wrong because of her presence.

“You are going against me?!” The Alpha slammed his cutleries on the table hard.

“I dare not go against you, father but sending my guest away is the same thing as sending me away. If you ask Sana to leave, then i am sorry because I would have to leave too”

The Alpha glared at Axel but he could not ask Axel to leave. He needed to have Axel around, not really Axel but Hazel, so he could finally eliminate her from his life.

“Fine! Just this one time” the Alpha gave in.

“But father….” Rex tried to speak.

“No more words, let’s just eat. After eating, Rex and Axel should put on a small show for us. Let them have a brotherly duel” The Alpha spoke and Axel’s brows arched.

“Why a sudden duel?”

“Because I want to see it” The Alpha replied but Axel needed no one to tell him that his father didn’t want to see a duel, all his father wanted was to get him away from Hazel so he could get rid of Hazel.

“I am sorry, father but I am not in the right state to fight at the moment. I was training this morning and a little bit too aggressively, I broke some of my bones, I am not totally fine yet.”

The Alpha and Axel stared at each other, each understanding the games they were playing.

“How about we play something simple after dinner, then? Maybe chess while we have Hazel make some tea and sausages for us. I heard she makes great sausages?”

“She does but it is a known fact that I am not good at chess. I’d rather just concede defeat”

“Impudence!” The Alpha slammed his fist on the table.

“You are going to play chess with your brother and that is it!”
