Mine: His Caged Princess -
Chapter 53
F**k!!
The next thing she knew, she was running behind him. She couldn’t let him just leave like that. She ran at full speed when the door of the elevator was about to close. She quickly stopped the elevator’s door from getting too close, only to discover that it was empty.
‘Did he leave already?’ She wondered. After all, he uses the wind to travel. She scolded herself, and with a long face, she started returning to her room.
She wondered when she would grow up and start acting like an adult.
‘Seriously? What the hell was I thinking while blackmailing him? She scolded herself again.
“What with the long face, huh?” Her face lit up like a tube light when she heard Wylder’s voice. She turned around and found him standing near the elevator. She couldn’t control her happiness and started running towards him, only to jump on him.
And as usual, he caught her perfectly. After all, he practiced a lot to hold her and to understand the way she launched herself at her father, her brother, or him. In the beginning, he used to fall on the ground in order to hold her.
He had studied the piece of art that was in his arms for years. Tiara wrapped her legs around his waist; she didn’t miss how Wylder’s hand, which used to hold her waist before, now shifted to her firm a*s. He never left a chance to grab it.
“I’m sorry, Wild.” She apologized, hugging him tight and hiding her face in the crook of his neck.
“It’s okay, Ara.” He spoke huskily, nuzzling his nose against her neck and inhaling her scent. Pulling apart, Tiara’s cupped his face and kissed him passively like there was no tomorrow, silently apologizing again for blackmailing him, and also it was their goodbye k**s.
She felt proud of herself when she felt his hard work. She liked the effect that she had on him, and to tease him more, she started grinding her p***y around it.
All of a sudden, she was yanked by Wylder, who pulled her hair. Even though it was hurting, she liked the way it hurt.
“You don’t want me to f**k you in the corridor, do you?” Wylder asked dangerously, taking a deep breath.
Tiara bit her lips and shook her head before responding, “But I want to get f****d in the corridor because I have never done this before. And I’m sure you will handle everything that can ruin our moment.”
The last thing she wanted was to get caught in the camera while doing all this type of craziness. She was Calvin Haysbert’s sister, and just like him, she liked exploring all the things in the area.
“You always have a thing with a person who can do magic.” Wylder chuckled, and Tiara grinned widely.
“I have heard that Selene and Hecate are best friends. I will ask Selene to talk with her best friend to send me as a witch in my next life.” Tiara said.
‘And I will ask her to bless you as my fated mate.’ Wylder thought.
*
Wylder reached the top of the hotel after bidding goodbye to Tiara for the final. Previously, he couldn’t leave because he didn’t want to leave her, not when she was mad at him. And he was glad that he took that decision, or his Ara wouldn’t feel guilty all of the time when he would have been away.
“I thought you two would f**k each other the whole night.” He was taken aback when he heard Colton’s voice. He didn’t even feel his presence. He turned around and saw him sitting, standing against the wall, and was… smoking.
He didn’t know that Colton had started smoking, but then he hadn’t been in touch for years.
“Hello, Big Brother,” he said, with a smile, wondering how he got here.
“What were you thinking by taking Tee with you?” Colton asked, ignoring his greeting. He dropped the cigarette and crushed it beneath his polished, branded shoe. Wylder felt that Colton’s voice was very calm. But he was definitely not having a friendly talk here.
Wylder thought twice before opening his mouth because he obviously didn’t want to speak. They were adults and were allowed to do whatever they wanted without anyone’s permission.
Because in this case, it looked like Colton already knew what was going on between them, but instead of asking anything about that, he asked about taking Tiara out.
“I made sure that no one would be able to take her pictures or recognize her.”
Colton scoffed at his reply, “Really? Do you think I’m talking about humans? I’m talking about your psychopath-fated mate, Zelda.”
“She is in a dungeon,” Wylder responded, but the mere talk about that witch increased his heartbeat. ‘If people say that witches are wicked, then Zelda was a live example of that phrase.’
“The coven won’t release her for breaking the law of witchcraft as she used dark magic to kill my Lycan. And many other people.” Wylder explained.
“I know that Coven won’t release her, but don’t forget that she is Lestat’s daughter. And the moment he would come to know that he has an evil daughter like him out there, then it wouldn’t take a second for him to free her.”
“She is Lestat’s daughter?” Wylder asked in shock because he didn’t know about it. Hell, he doubted whether anyone else knew this—even Zelda didn’t know who her father was. Talking about Lestat, he had read that Lestat is a half-wizard and half-vampire and is around a millennium old. Not just that Lestat is a pain in the a*s in the whole world.
He had also heard that Lestat had gathered so much power that only gods and goddesses could kill him only if they could replace him because as per people’s words, he had a habit of staying a step ahead as his right hand could see the future.
Wylder looked at Colton with tension. He dared not question Colton’s background check quality because he was the best.
“Do you want me to stay away from Ara?” Wylder asked. He would understand if Colton would say yes; after all, he wouldn’t want to keep his sister’s life at stake.
“I didn’t expect you to be a coward,” Colton spoke coldly.
“I’m not a coward, Big Brother. But your opinion matters to me. That’s why I asked you what you wanted from me.” Wylder corrected Colton before adding, “I never said that I would stay away from Ara. In fact, I would try to replace a way in which neither I would have to stay away from her nor you would have to worry about your sister.”
“Then replace it. Find that way, Wylder, because if you fail to protect her, then I swear no one will be able to protect you from my wrath.”
“Understood, Big B,” Wylder said with a grin. “By the way, is that threat the signal that you’re giving your blessing to us?” He asked next, but instead of answering him, Colton jumped from the building.
“What the…” Wylder’s eyes widened, and he looked down to check whether Colton was fine or not. Only to replace him. He landed on the ground gracefully and ran from there. If not for the superhuman’s eyesight, he couldn’t have seen Colton’s speed at all.
‘If he is that good at digging into anyone’s background then… does he also know about my past?’ He couldn’t help but wonder. At the same time, he knew that Colton didn’t have a habit of telling anyone’s secret. For now, he needed to make sure of Tiara’s safety.
‘Damn! Zelda is the daughter of Lestat. What was Hecate thinking while pairing me with that evil witch? That she would change into some saint?’
