“I will sit with my daughter,” Sophia said, arranging all the snacks on the dining table for four people while Wylder helped her.

“You will sit with me,” Brandon growled. “Tee and Wylder will sit together.” Sophia was about to go against him, but she didn’t when she felt that Brandon was being jealous. A frown always used to appear on his face whenever he used to get jealous for real.

“I’m sorry, sweetheart.”

“It’s okay, Mom. I don’t want to become the third wheel between you two either. Not after knowing that dad was out of station for ten days.” Tiara said with a big, sweet smile on her face.

‘Damn! She won’t leave me when we are sitting together.’ Wylder thought, knowing very well that she wouldn’t sit quietly while he gave all his attention to her mother instead of her.

Brandon and Sophia sat together, and Tiara and Wylder sat just opposite them, Tiara facing Sophia’s face and Wylder facing Brandon’s.

Tiara was giving the cold shoulder to Wylder, ignoring him completely. First, he was busy with his work for two days, and then he returned only to ignore her in front of her mother.

Wylder placed his hand on her thigh, squeezing it softly. He wanted to tell her that he wasn’t ignoring her, but he just couldn’t f**k her and leave her mother alone.

Tiara glared at him, silently threatening to remove his hand.

‘No, I won’t.’ He shook his head. That was when he saw her picking up the fork. He was well aware of her habit of hitting or attacking someone with whatever he could get. If nothing else, she didn’t mind hitting with slippers, sandals, or heels.

‘Remove’

‘No’

‘Fine then! Don’t blame me later.’

Brandon and Sophia watched them silently talk to each other without mind-linking. They ignored them and minded their own business. All of a sudden, Brandon smelt b***d. As much as he wanted to see what was happening between them, he kept quiet.

Wylder knew with whom he was dealing. He still couldn’t understand how he could love her so much.

‘Does Tee know about his feelings? What was going on between them?’

Tiara kept digging a fork into his hand as hard as she could, thinking he could remove his hand from her thigh, but Wylder didn’t do anything that she was hoping for. She pulled the fork from his hand and dropped it on the floor.

“Sorry!!” She muttered, looking at her parents, and then looked at Wylder, who had a smile on his face even though he was in pain. She peered under the table and watched him heal. She sighed in relief.

‘No wonder Theodore left me because of all these habits.’ She thought about it and started eating the snacks. But then, why did Wylder have no problem with her behavior? His hand was still on her thigh.

In fact, after realizing that Tiara’s anger had vanished into thin air, he caressed her thigh softly, sending goosebumps all over her body.

“So, you two? Back to best friends, hmm?” Brandon asked.

“Yes,” Tiara replied, sipping Coca-Cola after finishing the crispy chicken.

“Casual relationship as well,” Wylder said, and all of a sudden, Tiara choked and spewed out the coke. In the next moment, she started coughing. A lot of thoughts started going through Tiara’s mind.

‘What the hell was he thinking before blurting that part in front of Dad?’ She wondered. She remembered that Brandon didn’t take the news about Artemis and Theodore that well. He wanted to do everything to kick them out of his daughters’ lives.

And now, this! She wouldn’t be surprised if her father would grab Wylder’s collar and throw it out of the suite.

“Relax,” Wylder whispered, caressing her back. “Here!! Drink some water.” He muttered, helping her drink water.

Tiara clammed down and looked between her dad and Wylder. For some reason, her father was extremely calm and composed.

“What does that mean, young man? Are you not going to marry my daughter?” Brandon asked, arching his brow.

“Dadddd” Tiara whined at the topic of marriage.

“I will, Uncle Brandon. If Ara will want the same, but for now, we want to keep things casual to see if things could work out or not.” Wylder responded, and Tiara’s head snapped towards Wylder.

‘Either he is too good at acting, or Dad will be a fool not to catch his lie.’ She thought, biting her lips, but what Brandon said next blew her mind.

“Thank you for telling me the truth, Wylder. You were transparent about your feelings even when you were nine, and I’m glad that you’re still the same.”

“Wait! What? You knew about his feelings since he was nine. How?” Tiara asked in shock. “So, you never saw us as brothers and sisters, even when you considered him your son?” She asked next. Wlyder growled in a low tone at the word ‘brother and sister’.

“Everyone knew that he really liked you.” Sophia responded, not using the word ‘love’, because confessing his love for Tiara was Wylder’s work, not hers or anyone else’s.

“We thought you were his crush, and his feelings will go away with time,” Brandon added. “Not just that us; even Eden, Arya, Colton, Calvin, Caro, and Lee knew about his feelings except you. I wonder how you couldn’t see that.” Tiara looked at Wylder in shock.

“But… but when you all knew about his feelings for me, then you used to allow him anywhere near me? We used to stay together in my room for hours, and sometimes we used to sleep together. You didn’t have any problem with that?”

“No. We trusted him.” Sophia responded. “To be honest, if you ever… think of marrying Wylder, then trust me, we will all be more excited than you.”

“And I won’t treat him like Artemis or that loser, for sure,” Brandon added. “So, yes, green flag from my end as well.”

Tiara opened her mouth and closed it like a fish, not knowing what to say.
