Seira smiled thinly. "Tasya is amazing, isn't she?"

"She's really amazing, Mi. I don't know, she just helps me with my homework. I got a B plus for my clay sculpture of a bird yesterday, even though I did it at night. Tomorrow, I have to make a world map. I told Tasya, so she's coming over tonight."

"That's great. Naina has a friend now, right?"

"Yes," Naina laughed heartily.

Mirah, who had heard everything Naina said, felt a sense of dislike and a burning sensation around her. She knew the food in front of her was delicious, but because Tasya's name was mentioned repeatedly without hesitation, and there was so much joy in the conversation, it made Mirah uncomfortable.

She had already tried, you know, to get closer to Naina.

"Excuse me for a moment, Seira." She couldn't stand it any longer. She took a long breath before reaching into her bag. She pulled out her phone, which she had with her, to contact someone just to let them know her current whereabouts. Mirah still had responsibilities related to Naina being with her.

"I'm at PIM with Naina," Mirah tried to keep it as light as possible. "Spending time with Naina."

"If my granddaughter is too stubborn to approach, don't force it, Mirah. I've warned you from the beginning."

Mirah fell silent.

"I asked you to come and meet Nathan. But if Naina doesn't accept it, don't force it because that child is not easy to get close to other people."

"Yes, Mrs. Sunny."

"I hope this time you two can get along better."

If only... oh God!

"Well, I'm getting confused by Nathan's response to you. Don't take it too personally, Mirah?"

"No, Mrs." Mirah tried to smile again. "I know my place."

"It shouldn't be a problem just to get to know each other. It's just that my child is extraordinarily stubborn. It's understandable that she's been single for so long."

"Or maybe she already has an ideal woman that you don't know about?"

Sunny fell silent for a while. "I don't know about that. Even if she does, I'd be delighted. At least my child wouldn't have to work so hard all the time."

Mirah clenched her fists.

"I often talk about Nathan, don't I? I feel like I've lost my only child now. Well... getting angry at fate is useless, isn't it, Mirah?"

"Yes, Mrs. Sunny."

"Alright then. After playing with Naina, you can return home. I'm preparing a special dinner tonight."

As the recent phone call ended, Mirah tried to control herself. She didn't want to get too upset about what happened today. Just as she was about to go back inside, she was surprised by the presence of Naina and Seira. "I want to go with Mami Seira to buy fruits. If Aunt Mirah doesn't want to come, we can go home together by taxi."

Mirah blinked in surprise.

"Naina," Seira said in a warning tone. "That's not a nice way to talk."

"But I'm right, Mi, aren't I?"

Seira shook her head gently. "It seems like Naina really enjoys provoking someone's emotions."

In response to the beautiful woman in front of her, Mirah laughed. "I want to take Naina shopping for fruits. The fruit stock in my son's fridge is already empty. Naina is also waiting for her Daddy to pick her up, right?" "Yes, Mi." Naina was already holding Seira's hand. "Come on, let's hurry."

"I'll come with you, Seira. Naina is my responsibility."

"I'm glad to hear that." Seira smiled broadly.

"Um... Mami, what's the name of the blonde girl?"

"Olive," Seira replied briefly.

"Okay, Olive. Can I meet her?"

"For what?" Seira was curious.

"To apologize." Naina lowered her head slightly. "When I was at the hospital, I knew I was wrong. Tasya said I should apologize if I'm wrong."

Naina sat cheerfully. Her face was full of laughter, and she occasionally sipped from the boba in her hand. She smacked her lips, feeling the sweet and tangy taste of her strawberry smoothie order. Meanwhile, the two people in front of her exchanged knowing glances and one of them started the car engine.

"Are you happy to meet Mami Seira, Naina?"

"Of course." Naina laughed. "I accompanied Mami to buy fruit. Next week, I'm allowed to visit her house. I also want to apologize to Olive."

"Olive?" Nathan blinked. "You want to meet her?"

Naina nodded without hesitation. "I was wrong, Daddy. I have to apologize, right?"

Nathan nodded, though he was puzzled. Ah... it was the incident at the hospital, apparently. "You do need to apologize to Olive."

"Right?" Naina sucked on her smoothie again. "Why can I only buy one? Can't I have two? So stingy," Naina complained as she gently rocked her smoothie glass. "It's already finished." "Naina," Tasya warned.

"I've already eaten, Tasya. With Mami. Didn't you talk to Mami earlier?"

"Yes, I did talk to Mami, discussing when you would eat, and now you've swallowed something."

Naina pouted. "Seriously, it's delicious, Tasya. Can't I buy another one?"

"Don't consume too much sugar and boba, Naina." This time it was Nathan speaking. "There's next week. From now on, don't eat just anything too often."

"But I'm not sick, Daddy." Naina chose to move closer to Nathan, who was now focusing on the steering wheel.

"Even if you've eaten, it's not good to drink too much like that, Naina." Tasya leaned slightly towards the girl who was still pouting at her. "Fruit juice is okay though." She gently stroked the top of the girl's head, who hadn't yet removed the frown from her face.

"Mami bought lots of fruit earlier. For Naina."

Tasya smiled broadly. "Mami also told me earlier, including a recipe for a delicious juice."

"Really?"

"Do you want to, Naina?" Tasya grinned knowingly.

"I want to."

"Alright. When we get home, I'll make it for you."

"Daddy too," Nathan quickly added. "The kind that makes your face glow, like Mami Tasya."

"Hush!" Tasya gave Nathan a sarcastic look, to which he just chuckled. Even Naina joined in the laughter, following Nathan's antics.

"Mami Tasya? Why, it's cute. Like Mami Seira," Naina blurted out without realizing it.

"Nonsense! What's cute about it? I don't have any children yet. If it's Mami Seira, it's normal. She has Olivia, right?"

Even though Naina's intention wasn't like that. She also knew that Tasya didn't have any children yet. But the term "Mami Tasya" seemed just right for this bespectacled night owl girl. However, hearing Tasya's response made Naina fall silent. She chose to lean back in her seat. Her smoothie was no longer as enjoyable as before. She just left it by the door. If it spilled, she didn't care. What she did at the mall today, from accompanying Seira around the supermarket area to choose fruits, being allowed to hold hands with the woman she admired, and then being given a bag of fruits from her selections. Then waiting for Nathan and Tasya.

It all made her even happier. She chatted a lot about this and that, telling every detail of what she did with Seira. Mirah? She didn't pay much attention to her. Mirah just followed Naina and couldn't stop her from doing anything here. Sometimes, Seira even scolded Naina. She said, "It's not polite to talk to Aunt Mirah like that. She's the one accompanying you here, Naina."

When reprimanded like that, all Naina could do was bow her head and apologize.

When Nathan and Tasya came to pick her up, she let Tasya talk to Seira. Naina chose to pull Nathan aside and ask for a bag of snacks. Even though she had already obtained a bag of fruit and received advice that Naina couldn't possibly ignore. Seira said, "You have a lot of school activities, right? If you don't like vitamins, don't forget to eat the fruits."

Seira doesn't talk much, you know. Her responses to Naina's questions are short. But Naina remembers everything Seira says. She no longer has the fervent desire to make Seira her mother. What's the point? She might get a sarcastic look again. She can't call or even send messages anymore. She already feels lost, so she doesn't dare to act up.

It's different with Tasya. Every time she asks, Tasya always responds clearly, and the longer their conversation goes, the more enjoyable it becomes. Naina feels like she's found a pleasant and not boring conversation partner. Even so, Naina can't easily refute Tasya's words. Somehow, Tasya advises her and tells her things in a way that Naina can't immediately object to. What she does instead is think about not misbehaving. Naina sighs softly and her eyes glance back at Tasya, who is blocked by the seat's headrest.

On the other hand, Tasya senses something is different. Naina is no longer talking, and she seems a bit gloomy sitting there. "Naina?" she calls softly while turning to look. "Yes?"
