Tasya didn't want to blink as she looked at her current appearance. She was unsure about her vision, feeling like something was off. Did her prescription get worse? What she saw in the mirror didn't seem like herself this time. "Beautiful, right?" Seira's words broke Tasya's reverie. On Olivia's suggestion, Tasya had temporarily removed her round glasses, replacing them with dark brown contact lenses that perfectly complemented her face. "Am I really beautiful, Mrs. Seira? Why do I feel so self-conscious?" Tasya asked.

Seira chuckled softly. She carefully examined the dress she had chosen for Tasya once more. The white dress with a delicate blue floral pattern hugged Tasya's figure perfectly. According to Seira, the girl had enough assets to show off, but unfortunately, Tasya was somewhat shy, and her choice of clothing seemed conventional.

"Not too short, is it?" Tasya asked once more. She seemed uncomfortable with Seira's choice of dress. It showed off her thighs and long legs clearly. Five-inch pink heels with thin straps around her ankles adorned her feet beautifully. "You have beautiful legs; why not show them off once in a while? It's okay to make Nathan a little hot and cold occasionally," Seira laughed.

"But the event is in an open space, Mrs. Seira," Tasya said, as if she wanted to grab one of the wide fabrics to cover her entire body. "I feel embarrassed."

"You need to be confident, Tasya." Seira once again secured the girl's hair neatly. Tasya's hair had been given a shade lighter by adding hair extensions, an idea from Koni. Koni was indeed a master in hair styling and makeup.

"Look," Seira lightly tapped Tasya's shoulder and stood behind the uncomfortable girl. "In a little while, you'll always be by Nathan's side. As someone who's never far from Nathan, you should know what kind of women surround him, right?" Tasya closed her eyes slightly. "Yes, I do."

"You don't need to be someone else, Tasya. But occasionally, for Nathan to understand that you are just as attractive as what he can see out there, it's necessary."

Taking as many breaths as possible, Tasya looked at the reflection of the person she thought was too beautiful. She was staring at her own face and body. Only this time, her choice of clothing, hair styling, and makeup were significantly different from before.

"So... never lower your head like earlier. Enjoy the party, okay?" Seira's smile served as reassurance and a confidence booster for Tasya. "I'm pretty sure Nathan won't misbehave with you. At most, well... he might drag you to his room for a moment."

"Mrs. Seira!"

Don't ask how nervous Tasya was just after getting out of the car, where Nathan was waiting for her right by the door. She was separated from Nathan. Tasya was with Naina, preparing herself and her appearance at Seira's salon, which had been exclusively reserved to assist Tasya on this afternoon.

Originally, Nathan wanted to accompany her and didn't want Tasya to be alone with Naina. He was curious about how Tasya would look this afternoon. But really, Tasya's threat left him with no choice. In the end, he asked Mr. Jack to accompany them, even though he really wanted to join them.

Unfortunately, he was quite busy with the event scheduled for an hour from now. Even though he had handed it over to a special team and his mother was helping out, Nathan still wanted to know how far along their engagement preparations had progressed. This included the invitations he had sent out to all of Faldom's divisions and the clients he worked with.

"Tasya, don't be so tense. I'm here," Naina said, trying to sound wise. "If you're scared, just hold my hand."

Tasya felt like smacking the child's head for looking at her with such a meaningful smile. Unfortunately, she couldn't do that. Instead, she quickly reached for Naina's hand. "My hands are so cold, aren't they? I'm afraid things won't go smoothly, Naina."

"What's up with you, Tasya? You're going to be my mom soon. Can't you be scared?" Naina said.

Yeah, she had a point. But what could she do? All eyes would be on her, right? Her worry and nervousness hadn't diminished yet, and the car door was already being knocked on, with Nathan slightly bending down to observe them behind the door. "Tasya?" he called between knocks.

"Come on, Mama Raptor. You can't be afraid like this," Naina pouted. "What if Daddy Raptor tries to open the door himself? That's even more dangerous. I don't know why, but Daddy's been so noisy since earlier. I've been ignoring a lot of his video calls, too. He's so impatient," Naina grumbled. "Let's go!"

Pressed by Naina's insistence, Tasya gathered her courage. She unlocked the car door and began to move down. Tasya's heart was pounding uncontrollably because she realized that since she opened the door, Nathan hadn't looked away. Nathan's hand extended to hold Tasya's and help the girl out of the car. Once again, taking a deep breath, though still nervous, Tasya believed that Naina's words had some truth to them. She had to get through this event very well. As their hands touched, Nathan pulled Tasya slightly closer to him, which caught Tasya off guard. "Nathan!"

"I thought my future wife had changed. Turns out..." Nathan laughs. "My Tasya looks so beautiful."

"Can you be quiet?" Tasya stares in disbelief because Nathan's words, similar to a whisper, seem like he's kissing her cheek. But Tasya can confirm it's not like that at all! Amidst all this, one thing Tasya never expected was that there was a photographer who seemed to be taking advantage of their closeness.

"Why? Can't I compliment you?" Nathan says with a mischievous look on his face. "I'm really captivated by you, Tasya. Your beauty is so unique."

"Stop it!" Tasya gently pulls away from Nathan. "Come on, Naina. Do you want to go inside?"

"Thought you forgot about me?" Naina pouts. She's just as charming as her future aunt, whom she loves like a mother figure. Yeah, Naina considers Nathan as her father figure for a long time. So whoever marries Nathan, she considers as a mother. Her long hair is slightly wavy, and her knee-length dress matches Tasya's. A bright blue bandana completes Naina's look for the day.

"Oh, Daddy's girls look so pretty today, don't they? Is there no cure for their beauty today?"

"Daddy!" Naina exclaims in protest as Nathan hugs her tightly. "I can't breathe!"

"Oh my goodness, you two!" Sunny's slightly exasperated voice makes everyone turn their attention to her as she walks over, slightly flustered. "Can't you stop being noisy?"

"Daddy is really annoying, Oma!" Naina says while straightening her hair and dress, making sure nothing is messy or out of place. She wants to evoke some affection in Nathan because sometimes, his behavior really annoys her.

Sunny can only sigh multiple times. She pats her chest and recites a patience mantra because her youngest son's antics can be a bit mischievous. But more than anything, Sunny, who is now looking at her future daughter-in-law, doesn't blink at all. "Is this... Tasya?"

"Well, Mama, can't you blame her for being stunned? My future wife is so beautiful, right?" Nathan proudly says as he casually embraces Tasya, regardless of the many onlookers.

"Yeah, right. You look so beautiful, Tasya."

Tasya's embarrassment continues to escalate.

"Mama doesn't want to compliment me for looking handsome in this white suit?"

Sunny scowls. Her hand quickly pulls Tasya's hand away from Nathan's grasp. Although reluctantly, Nathan lets go with a wide smile. He truly didn't expect that even a slight change in Tasya's appearance in his imagination would make it impossible for him to look elsewhere.

It's too precious to miss this moment when those long legs had already captured his attention since getting out of the car earlier. If Nathan were to touch and feel... what would happen between them later?

Patience, Nathan! Patience! Make Tasya your wife first, then you can do anything enjoyable for both of you. Right?
