Chapter 48 Perfect Acting!

Jade tried her best to come up with an idea. She closed her eyes and began to wander around.

Then she accidentally bumped into Valentino‘s arms. Valentino lurred her, and a trace of a smileshowed up in his deep cyes.

Jade closed her eyes lightly, trying to look like she was asleep. She felt the man‘s breath coming closerand closer until his lips touched hers.

“What dream are you having?” Valentino asked indifferently.

“I dreamed that I hadn‘t gone to bed at this late hour and you told me to sleep.” Jade was elated as shethought this was a clever answer. Valentino should be smart enough to know she needed to sleepnow.

The man fixed his slanted eyes on Jade in his arms. He smiled and said in a sexy voice, whiclısounded kind of dangerous. “Is that so? Are you sure you did not go to the Casey family wliensleepwalking?”

As he said, he took out the silver pistol on Jade.

Looking at Valentino‘s expression and the silver pistol in his land, Jade swallowed hier saliva.Obviously, Valentino knew everything. It was impossible to liide it from him.

Jade wanted to cry. She tried her best to convince him.

Jade gave up. She realized that she could not reason with this man at all.

She had no choice but to change hier strategy. She nestled in the man‘s arms and said pitifully, “If myleg is broken, I will be crippled. Mr. Mosley, do you want to like a woman who is a cripple?”
