“You like it here?” Colin’s voice pulled her back from her memories. Zuri opened her eyes to see Colinstanding in front of her with only a bath towel tied around his waist.

She had never seen his body after that summer. Now that he was standing there half-naked, Zuri hadto admit that she was a little aroused.

She was about to stand up from the couch to get her mind off things when Colin pounced on her.

Next thing she knew, their bodies intertwined.

Colin didn’t let Zuri sleep for the whole night.

When Zuri woke up in the morning, she thought she would miss her flight. She checked the time andfound it was still early.

This time, she would stay in a heavily-guarded military base with the crew for the filming, close to beingisolated from the outside world for around three months.

Zuri was glad that she agreed to take the role because she still had three months to sort herself outbefore confronting Colin.

The other reason why she wanted to leave without telling him was that she wanted him to have a tasteof his own poison. She wanted to see how would he suffer after she disappeared from his world.

Zuri lifted the comforter and tried to get out of the bed. However, the second her feet touched theground, the pain from her lower body hit her. She fell back into the bed.
