Returning from the hospital, Ethan beckoned Alena downstairs and asked her about the exact amountsof properties she had.

“Dad, why are you asking me? Isn’t Edmund going to pay off his father’s debt?”

She gave a rough number of her properties to Ethan and was ordered to cash them in.

Ethan cashed in everything valuable aside from his house.
