Chapter 107
Soon, someone picked up, and a man’s deep voice came out. “What up Gigi? Are you in the shower?”
Mickey didn’t respond, pulled back a bit and called to Giselle. “Gigi… I’m done.”
Then he quickly hung up the phone, deleted the record, turned off the shower, and returned the phone to the pillow. And then he walked out as if nothing had happened.
Giselle was finally relieved to see Mickey out. “All done, Mr. Blake?”
“Yeah…”
Then leave.”
Giselle slammed the door shut without a second thought. Mickey stood at the door for quite some time before reluctantly heading back.
Giselle was quite annoyed at Mickey’s behavior.
Of course, she knew what he was implying.
But she never considered forgiving him. Not to mention she was already got a loved one.
Mickey’s just not worth her time anymore.
But with all that pestering… Giselle was uncertain if her life would be disrupted, nor did she know what Mickey was up to.
Not even Jenny knew what Mickey just did, and she would undoubtedly face a lot more trouble at the company when she found out.
Mickey was now undoubtedly the troublemaker here in Giselle’s eyes.
Until Mickey was dealt with, she would never have peace in the company.
But how to deal with Mickey… That was another problem.
Giselle was immersed in thoughts, and by the time she came to, more than ten minutes had passed.
She finally remembered to grab her phone, and discovered that there were several missed calls. All from the same person.
“Hymes?”
Giselle quickly dialed back, and she trembled at the man’s deep and resentful voice coming through.
“You didn’t pick up.”
His voice was calm, yet… Giselle calmed herself down. “My mind was elsewhere, and I accidentally muted my phone.”
“Hmm.”
Hynes went silent for a moment as if trying to hold back something.
This silence gave Giselle an idea of what was going on.
She was about to ask Hymes when he spoke first. “What were you doing just now? Are you really alone?”
This man had to be clairvoyant. How did he know Giselle wasn’t alone in the room?
But then Giselle was hesitant to tell Hymes about this, for he might get angry or jealous if she tells. But then again, she

would be keeping secrets if she didn’t….
As Giselle hesitated, Hymes‘ face darkened in his drinking game.
It was as if a freezing coldness erupted from him, and there were ice shards that could easily pierce someone.
And it scared the boss of the company who wanted to propose a toast, who shuddered his hands and spilled most of the wine. He even trembled in his apology, “M–Mr. Giles… I’m so sorry. I’ll refill it for you…”
Hymes looked over calmly, “It’s okay. Sit.”
He picked up his phone and left, leaving only a terrifying back view to everyone in the room.
The businessmen who sought demands from him had no idea what was happening. Even those much older than him couldn’t help but feel scared about him.
Some of them wiped the sweat off their heads, finally realizing what exactly was to fear about the later generations….
Hymes walked to the corridor, finally calmed the storm inside of him down and asked, as rationally as possible. “Gigi, don’t lie to me. Whatever you’re doing, tell me the truth.”
“I… If I tell you, don’t get mad!”
Getting mad.
He was already mad when he heard a man’s voice in the sound of water, and it happened to be Giselle’s ex.
He wanted to kill him at that point. To tear Mickey limb from limb and throw them into the incinerator.
After finally regaining his calm, Giselle’s hesitation and entanglement stung his heart again.
Hymes felt himself funny. Maybe he was not as successful as he thought, and was only barely significant to Giselle, small enough to be wiped out by that man….
Storm raged inside him again. As he was about to lose control, Giselle confessed to what happened, including how Mickey went with her.
“I had no idea Mickey was coming, honest! He was already at the airport when I saw him, and I didn’t tell you because I was afraid you’d overthink things, but… You seem to have found out about something.”
Giselle was getting nervous the more she explained. “I don’t know how you found out about it, but I figured I should have told you… I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have kept secrets.”
Giselle was gentle and sincere in her apology. Hymes was about to roll thunder, and now it seemed to have powered down.
He closed his eyes briefly and said, “What was he doing with your phone?”
Giselle was stunned. “What?”
“Just now,” scoffed Hymes. “Mickey called with your phone. Didn’t say anything, except for your name.”
“No, he just came to talk about teaming up with Oscar Timbers and then used my bathroom, but I was standing in the corridor. Lwasn’t even in my room! I had no idea he called you with my phone…”
“Damn you, Mickey Blake!”
Giselle cursed through her teeth. He almost ruined her relationship with Hymes. What a bastard and a cad!
Hymes sighed after hearing exactly what happened. “You should have told me from the start. I won’t get mad.”
He would have just put everything aside to be by her side, ending all Mickey’s attempts to get close to Giselle in private.

“It was my fault… I was afraid you’d be mad, so I kept to myself. I’m really sorry.”
No wonder Hymes‘ voice was bone–chilling. Giselle felt relieved he called again to ask, instead of suspecting and sulking by
himself.
Otherwise, this would later become an obstacle that would damage their relationship.
The stunt Mickey pulled was so vile, Giselle wanted to go to his room and beat the crap out of him.
“I’m not mad now that I know everything. I trust you.”
Hymes‘ voice became soft and gentle again. “Next time something like this happens, don’t keep it to yourself. Tell me, okay?”
“Got it… I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks.”
Giselle thanked him for not being suspicious but asked directly, which was the best way to solve problems.
“Go get some sleep. Hymes chuckled, and hung up.
And then he couldn’t hold it anymore, and contacted Leo, his secretary. “I need to get to Gigi at once. Get me a private jet, or book the first flight tomorrow.”
