Chapter 4 Divorce is Postponed

She awakened Nicholas. He took the phone, lifted the blanket, and walked directly to the window. Theychatted briefly, but Nancy couldn’t hear what he was saying. She only saw his eyebrows furrowed andthen relaxed. After hanging up the phone, Nicholas came to Nancy. Nancy looked at himembarrassedly and said, “I answered the wrong phone.
