Chapter 31

Aria’s POV.

The next day dawned bright and clear, and I found myself being escorted to the pack resort. The journey was short but filled with anticipation. I had heard about the resort’s beauty, but nothing could have prepared me for what I saw as we arrived.

The resort was nestled in a secluded part of the forest, surrounded by towering trees and vibrant foliage. A crystal–clear lake shimmered in the sunlight, and charming wooden cabins dotted the landscape, each one beautifully crafted and welcoming.

As I stepped out of the car, I took a deep breath, savoring the fresh, pine–scented air. The tranquility of the place washed over me, soothing my nerves.

“Welcome to the pack resort, Miss Aria,” said the staff member who had accompanied me. His name was Kyle, a kind–faced man with a warm smile. “I hope you enjoy your stay here.”

“Thank

you, Kyle,’ I signed, smiling back at him. “It’s beautiful.”

He nodded, leading me towards my cabin. “This is one of our finest cabins,” he said, opening the door for me. “It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you need anything, just let us know.”

Stepping inside, I was greeted by a cozy, elegantly decorated interior. The cabin had a rustic charm, with wooden beams, a stone fireplace, and plush furnishings. Large windows offered stunning views of the lake and surrounding forest.

“This is amazing.” I signed, turning to Kyle with wide eyes. “I’ve never stayed anywhere like this before.”

“I’m glad you like it,” he replied, beaming. “There’s also a spa, a gym, and several hiking trails if you’re interested. Meals are served in the main lodge, but you can also hav

them delivered here.

“Thank you,” I signed again, feeling a surge of gratitude. “I’ll explore everything.”

Kyle nodded and handed me a set of keys. “Enjoy your stay, Miss Aria. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to ask.”

After Kyle left, I wandered through the cabin, marveling at the luxurious amenities. The bedroom was spacious, with a large, comfortable bed and soft linens. The bathroom had a deep soaking tub and a rainfall shower, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

I stepped out onto the private deck, overlooking the lake. A pair of Adirondack chairs. invited me to sit and relax, and I couldn’t resist. I settled into one of the chairs, letting the peacefulness of the place seep into my bones.

As I sat there, taking in the breathtaking scenery, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of wonder. This was so far removed from my usual life at the Alpha’s castle. For the first time in a long while, I felt truly free.

“This is unbelievable,” I whispered to myself, smiling as I gazed out at the sparkling

water.

1 spent the rest of the day exploring the resort. The spa was a haven of relaxation, with soothing music and skilled therapists. The gym was state–of–the–art, though I was more interested in the hiking trails that wound through the forest.

In the evening, I returned to my cabin, feeling more at peace than I had in years. As the sun set over the lake, casting a golden glow over the water, I knew that this week at the resort would be a time of healing and renewal for me.

For now, I could forget about my troubles and simply enjoy the beauty of this place. And that was more than enough.

The second day at the pack resort was like stepping into a dream. I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside my window and the gentle rustling of leaves in the breeze. For the first time in a long while, I felt at peace.

After a hearty breakfast delivered to mytabin–a delicious spread of fresh fruit, warm pastries, and perfectly brewed coffee–1 decided to explore the hiking trails. The forest was serene, and I reveled in the solitude. My wolf felt invigorated, her senses heightened by the natural surroundings. We trained together.

In the afternoon, I visited the spa, indulging in a relaxing massage that left me feeling rejuvenated. Lunch was a gourmet affair, served in the main lodge, where I savored every bite of the chef’s exquisite creations. The rest of the day was spent lounging by the lake, reading a book, and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere.

That night, I slept more peacefully than I had in years. The soft, luxurious bed and the quiet of the forest enveloped me in a cocoon of comfort. I drifted off with a sense of contentment, grateful for this rare opportunity to unwind.

The third day followed a similar pattern. After another delightful breakfast, I joined a group yoga session by the lake, led by an experienced instructor. The stretching and breathing exercises were invigorating, setting a positive tone for the rest of the day. I

spent time at the gym, pushing my limits, and then took a long walk through the forest trails, connecting with my wolf and training her senses.

Lunch was another culinary delight, and I couldn’t help but appreciate the care and effort pw.

each meal. In the afternoon, I treated myself to a soak in the hot tub, the warm water soothing my muscles.

It was later that day, while I was taking a leisurely stroll around the resort grounds, that I noticed a young woman struggling with a stack of heavy crates near the supply shed. She was a few years older than me, with auburn hair pulled back in a messy ponytail and an air of determination.

“Do you

need some help?” I signed, stepping closer.

The woman looked up, clearly surprised but grateful. “Yes, please,” she said, her voice tinged with relief. These crates are heavier than they look.”

Together, we managed to move the crates inside the shed. As we worked, she introduced herself as Lena, a worker at the resort.

Thank you so much, Aria, Lena said once we were done, wiping sweat from her brow. “I don’t know what I would have done without you.”

I smiled, feeling a warm sense of camaraderie. “It’s no problem at all. I’m glad I could help.

We continued talking, and I learned that Lena had been working at the resort for several years. She loved the job, but it was demanding, especially during peak seasons. We shared stories about our lives, and Iound myself opening up to her more than I had with anyone else. Lena had a kind, understanding nature that made it easy to talk to her.

Over the next few days, Lena and I grew closer. We spent our free time together, exploring the resort, sharing meals, and even training our wolves together. She was the first real friend I had ever had, and it felt wonderful to have someone to confide in and laugh with.

One afternoon, while we were sitting by the lake, Lena turned to me with a thoughtful expression. “You know, Aria, I’ve seen a lot of people come and go from this resort, but I’ve never met anyone quite like you. You’re strong, resilient, and you have such a gentle heart. I’m glad we met.”

Her words touched me deeply. “Thank you, Lena. I’m glad we met too. You’ve made my

time here so much better”
