The family reunion was the last thing that I had ever wished for my entire life.

I knew my brother was literally a torn in my flesh and within me I wished that I never really saw him because of how he treated me, but who I was, he was here with his mother and now they are the happy family that I had never thought about

"You know this family reunion can't be complete without me "dad said behind me and when I turned I saw him walking in with the last person that I wished that I. had not my entire life. My eldest sister Kylie was with him.

Kylie was a dad daughter of another woman, he claimed to have loved the woman so much and she was his first love but what we didn't know was how the both of them never got to end up together and he had to end up with my mom. Kylie had Been in the US for the past fifteen years, after getting trained as a security guard and after that dad decided to let her go chase her dream of being a model and it was just as if it was the best thing that had ever happened to her because she became so popular In the whole wide world.

She was the first most followed woman in the world with a total of 350 million followers on Instagram and also she models for top brands. She was super rich and I was somehow proud to be her brother but one thing I never understood was why she never really got to be free with us.

she never smiled with us and I knew that was because of how mom treated her badly because my dad really did love and mom said she was taking her husband away from her and because of that she hated her to the core and made sure that she went through hell for the little time that she sent with us.

Kylie hated my mom so much and during the years she never dared to hid that hate, she made sure she showed it to her face and she hated her to the extent that she will do everything in her power to make her life miserable and one thing I noticed was the fact that my cold hearted and wished mom was afraid of her.

I watched her as she walked majestical towards us and it was at that moment everything began to make sense to me, from dad coming back suddenly and now Kylie coming home, it already tells me that something was definitely going on. "why did you come back? I thought that when you said you were never going to return "my elder brother asked angrily standing up from his seat.

Kylie didn't reply to him, neither did the look on her face change, she still had that cold look as ever, I guess she had so much going through her mind at this moment.

"Welcome back "I murmured silently to her the moment she passed me by with dad.

I never really asked her to reply to my greetings because she was always this cold towards all of us.

"Thank you Jared, you the best sweet little brother "she turned to me and smiled at me sweetly.

This was literally the best smile anyone had ever given to me since I existed on this earth and I wouldn't deny the fact that I was excited that she wasn't ignoring me.

Kylie Walked towards mom and when she got to where she was, she placed a soft kiss on her cheeks. She did the same with my sister and then my brother and the moment done she turned to face my dad.

"Now will you tell me why I am here ?".

The whole house went calm. My dad was literally replaceing the right words to tell her so she doesn't get mad, but I knew that it was just Normal thinking.

What I was trying so hard to understand was why dad feared and did everything for her like she was some kind of demi god that couldn't be touched.

"I will have that later, but for now we all have to freshen up "Dad said ignoring her daring stare as he walked towards his room not even looking at mom's direction.

I knew this was something that I had grown to understand but what I didn't get was why mom and dad never really got along though they were able to give birth to kids together, but they never really behaved like couples instead they did that to the cameras.

"You shouldn't be back you witch "mom said looking at Charlotte who was seated on one of the chairs with her able bodied bodyguard standing behind Her.

"You should be lucky I haven't killed you yet, I don't know what you're saying but don't dare to talk to me, I don't think that you would be lucky next time old woman" she told mom.

I could feel the tension in almost all of us and no one was doing a thing to stop it, nobody really cared.

"I will just leave you guys to yourself. I think I have an appointment to catch" Elsa said standing up.

I knew Elsa was just trying to just leave.

Our whole family all sat together, it was my big brother, big sis and I sitting together with mom and dad.

I could see the uncomfortable look on Kylie's face. I hated it for a moment.

"I know Everyone of you might be unsure why I called for this meeting and one thing is that am not going to beat around the bust, am just going to get straight to the point so that we can all get out of here "

"Well I called this meeting because right now I want to handover the company to the rightful owner and that was one of the main reason my daughter is back, well I respect the fact that Jared had been taking care of this company for years and he had made sure that it grew from strength to strength but not withstanding that, am giving the company back to its rightful owners which is my daughter here, she would start her work as the CEO of this company starting next week and you both are going to be next to her and if anyone of you are not okay with my judgment then I think you will have no choice but to go build your own company "dad dropped the bombshell.

"The moment dad finished saying those words it was just as if I had heard the worst news in my entire life.

I knew how hard it was for me to be able to hold that company to that level and now his handing it over to his daughter who had just returned after 15 years of being away...

"That's never going to happen dad, you know how much I fought to make sure that I protected that Company, none of your kids were here and now dare to treat me this way just because your favorite child is Bach huh, how is this even fair at all "I yelled with frustration.

"You should stop shouting bro, it's not like I am interested in it and away" Kylie said and stood up.

"That's what you always say but then you end up taking everything "mom half yelled.

I knew that this family meeting wasn't going to end in a good time one bit but yet I wanted to see the ending, I wanted to know the outcome of their decision.

"I think whatever that you have said is not my business because next week I will be hosting a welcome party for my daughter "dad said and I gulped nervously.

Dad turned to face me, he had a smile on his face and I knew that already up to something.

I had grown up with that look and I knew that whenever he looked at me like that, he had something in his mind that he wanted to accomplish by all means.

"I already sent an invitation card to your PA. The party is next week or don't you want to invite her or introduce her officially to the family? Dad told me, sending me a mischievous smile.

I could feel everyone's gaze suddenly turn in my direction, my mom, my brother and my sister.

it was just as if they had just put me in a hot seat and for the first time ever I felt very uncomfortable.

I ignored all the gaze and all the threatening stares that I was getting.

"Dad stay away from that girl, I don't want you getting close to her one bit,"I told him and with that I stood up.

."And where do you think that you are going?" Dad's voice stopped me.

"Am leaving, don't even try to stop me "I told him and without warning I Walked out of the house.

Theresa's pov

I walked down the hallway with a worried look on my face.

I had never been this scared my entire life, seeing that girl again after a very long time put a kind of fear into my heart, a fear that I just couldn't understand.

I knew how and what I did to make sure that I had this man and even though he didn't love me I still stayed here and overlooked all his mess.

I wasn't Going to let a girl come and destroy all that I had worked for, I would finish what I started.

"Why do you look so paranoid, Theresa's, are you so scared that I'm back and I would open all of your dirty secret "I heard the voice that I had dreaded so much. I turned and there she was,

Her dark hair shined in the lights, her straight nose and her brown eyes were the most attractive thing about her. She looked exactly like her and she reminded me of her.

"I don't know why you feel that I am scared of you, you know I have never been scared of you and I never will be, I just hope that you stop thinking about it that way "I told her.

Kylie Walked towards me, she didn't look like she was scared or anything, she didn't black out and she didn't move an inch, she just kept that cold look on her face.

"You know what, I can't wait to expose all of your dirty secrets.

I know that there's something that you are hiding away from us and I know that it's something that had to do with my mother, well do a very good job and kept hiding it till the day you die, because when I replace out that thing that you are hiding and it turns out to be something terrible, you are so going to pay "She whispered quietly into my ears and at that moment I could feel the chills run down my spine.

"What's going on here "his voice stopped us.

We both turned and my so-called husband was standing there.

"Dad I was just having a chit chat with my step mother and am already done so If you don't mind I would go have some rest, good night dad "she told him and walked away without looking back.

my gaze turned from her and it fell on the man that I had lived with for the past 30 years, I had done literally everything just for him to notice me but even though he still doesn't give a fuck about me.

He never changed his looks one bit but instead he just aged looking more sexy.

"Don't tell me you are still going to ignore Me?" I asked trying to approach him from where I stood.

"Don't lay your filthy hands on me "He told me and walked away ignoring me

I watched this man walk away and as he did I let out the tears I had in my eyes.
