The moment I walked out from there, Beckley shut the door.

I walked to Lena who was waiting for me in her car and getting into the car I shut it.

"Are you sure this is a good idea, like leaving the kids at home all alone? I just don't feel right about this.

Lena looked at me and just rolled her and hit on the car engine.

The kids would be fine, Lena. All you have to do is go to work and ask for permission from your boss. I Am sure that he will grant your request.

After all it was the school teacher who had asked you to come over today by 2 for a PTA meeting.

I let out a deep breath and signed as she drove off, there was no way that I wasn't going to be coming back Early.

The car came to a halt in front of the company.

"Please be fast Lena, I will be here waiting, you know that if I miss any other day I would be getting sacked from work and I don't want that happening. "I will be here soon "I told her and rushed out of the car.

The company was bursting with life as I walked in, I could see everyone turn to my direction the moment I got in.

There was no way that I was going to greet anybody.

I took the elevator and the next moment I was already in my office but on getting there I saw another guy sitting there. I felt like I heard a loud bang on my head.

"Hey, who are you?" I asked immediately as I walked into the office.

The man raised up his head and looked at me, I coho tell that he was a middle aged man that was in his late 40s.

"Am Mr harry new PA and I have been told to give you this "he said handing me an envelope.

I took the envelope and tote it Open immediately.

My heart was banging so hard from thinking about what could possibly happen the next moment.

There was no way I was going to lose my job.

I tore the envelope open immediately and just as I had feared the words resignation looked at me.

I felt the beads of sweat break out of my forehead as I stared at it.

There was no way that I was going to accept this, after working diligently for 3 years I wasn't going to get sacked again but definitely not right now.

What was I going to do? I don't have a house and now no job. How could this happen to me?

"I think you should leave already, the remaining half of the salary will be paid to your account soon so please leave "

I didn't need anyone to tell who owns that voice.

Just as I had thought the moment I turned I saw her standing there.

She had red lipstick on and she was looking all pretty but her heart was darker.

"You did this huh?".

The girl smirked and looked at Me.

"Am just getting Started Dora, I am telling you this, this is just a job, you don't know what I am going to do next am going to take that one thing that  you value so much away from you "You will pay for this Kylie, I promise you that "

I walked out of the company with my head bowed, there was no way that I was going to let myself be that fool, all I wanted to do was keep my babies safe.

"Did he grant you the request?" Lena asked the moment I got in the car.

"I got sacked Lena, that bitch did it "I said letting out all the tears that I had in my eyes.

It's okay my love, let's just get to school and meet the headteacher and after that we can think of what to do.

The drive to my baby's school is one hell of a drive.

I had so much thought going through my mind and I couldn't stop thinking about what would happen if I eventually don't replace a new job.

There was no way I could take care of those kids without working my ass out.

"It's okay babe, I promise you, we will get this sorted out "Lena told me and I nodded my head at her words.

I felt calm by just listening to her, she was the only person I had left in this world

We got to the school and just as we drove in, I saw the head teachers walked out of her office.

I quickly got out of the car and looked at the woman. I could tell that she was leaving, but why was she leaving? I thought she said we had a board meeting with all the parents today. "Mrs Bernardo, It's a  pleasure to see you "she said immediately smiling at Me.

I just smiled and looked at her as I approached her, I didn't want to show my pains,...

The middle-aged woman looked at me and smiled.

I loved this lady because she was one of those that helped me.

."I wanted to call you dora, why aren't your kids not in school today?".

The moment she made that statement, I felt like I was going nuts.

What exactly was she talking about?

"What are you saying Trisha, I thought you sent an email to us that there is an urgent PTA meeting that all parents need to attend.

"Meeting, Mail, I never did, there's no Meeting dora "she said, surprised.

My heart flew out of my chest the next moment, I couldn't imagine what was happening.

"My babies "I screamed, rushing back to the car.

I didn't wait for Lena to come, I was already going mad by just thinking of what was happening to my babies.

Whoever did this had a lot of Scheming going on.

Those kids were my life and I love them. If anything happens to them, I don't think I will be able to bear it.

"Dora, wait, you can't go driving like a mad woman" Lena yelled getting into the car.

I didn't bother to let her words get into my head, I just drove out the money day.

. I knew I was thinking about listening to any traffic rules today. My kids' lives were in danger. There was nothing anyone would say that could stop me at this moment.

The money I drove to the street with that Lena had made us. I Could see the crowd from afar and I didn't need anyone to tell me that something was going on and just as I had predicted. I saw the flames coming out from the House, I could see them.

The people gathered around the House shd there were no fire fighters.

Lena my babies "I screamed as I rushed out of the car and rush towards the House..

I saw the people there look at me like I was mad.

"Ma'm what are you talking about, there are no babies in the house "someone screamed at Me but I didn't listen.

My babies were in the house and the house was on fire and yet they wanted me to stay here and act like nothing was happening that wasn't going to happen no matter how hard it was.

Without waiting for anyone I rushed into the House.
