With a smile, Tilda turned to Lyndon, her eyes gleaming behind her glasses.

Seeing the happiness radiating from her, Lyndon’s eyes softened.

He briefly examined the document himself before setting it aside.

“Does this ease your concerns?” he inquired gently.

“Yes, I’m heading home tonight,” Tilda declared, her resolve firm to confront Renata with the evidence.

“Alright,” Lyndon replied.

Tilda gave him a querying look.

“Will you be coming with me?”

Lyndon’s heart skipped a beat, and he asked, “Would you like me to accompany you back?”
