" That was fun, you're a good one," Garret laughed, joining me near his truck. I only frowned, he wasenjoying this too much. We spent the day exploring the pack and he took me to the massivetraining field. It was nothing like I imagine, indeed the Golden Stone pack was large and people areright to fear them. There are so many well-built soldiers, hundreds of them. Others are running andothers are fighting, and the hundreds of soldiers were well-organized in groups. Realizing I'mstaring in awe, Garret grabs my hand and takes me away into a room.

" This is the training field, again, yes, we are the best," I rolled my eyes but nodded. The men lookedat me like a delicious meal while others whistled.

" Oh go back to training you horny dogs!" Shouted Garret playfully. The men whistled and clapped." She Hot!" They screamed.

"Wanna piece of me." A guy winked with a playful smile.

" YOU FUCKING SHITS. This lady here is the new luna!" He announced and everyone paled and feartook over their faces as they bow low to me, apologizing for their behavior. I wasn't upset though,they were joking and having fun.

"It's alright,” I said and they seemed relieved. Did they think I'll punish them?

"I'm here to collect my bag from the locker, can you wait for me here? I'll be back," He said and raninto the lockers, I sat on the bench as I waited but easily got bored and started to look around. Thewarriors were good and it was mesmerizing to watch.

" Caliana, what are you doing you?" A gentle voice said, Jamal was peering at me as he walkedtowards me. I waved at him.

"Why are you here dressed like that?" He hissed, anger radiating from him. I dressed this waybecause I wanted to and it's hot! I imagined myself shouting but I knew better than to enrage him.He might kill me this time.

" Do you enjoy the attention you are getting from men?" His voice was teasing but I sensed jealousyin it.

" Then what is it... Mate,” He growled in my ear. Tears stung my eyes and my heart was beating fast,just who does he think he is to make me feel this way? I felt like a prostitute. " Aren't you the one parading around the pack with my cousin and bullying others?" I was shockedby his statement. I swallowed thickly and blinked my tears away. Has he been talking to that bitch?"1 wasn't, and as I said to the beta, Garret was just showing me around the pack house and yourlover came at me, not the other way around,” I hissed, anger rising in my tone. He tilted his head,seeing me angry and he smirked

" So you can talk back,” He sounded amused. I didn't look at him again. The door to his officeopened and Candace walked in boldly, my heart tightened when she went to his side, touching himto spite me.

" Babe, she even choked me," She cried, he rolled his eyes at her and went back to his seat behind amahogany desk. Candace attempted to sit on his lap but he stood up again, making her back awayand she looked at him shocked and hurt.

" Are you going to wait till we start making out, Luna?" Candace smirked and he growled.

"I'm leaving, someone is waiting for me outside," I sighed and turned on my heels, my wolfsquealed.

'1 didn't even want t look at him," I barked at her. I hate that she is head over heels for that man. Ifelt a slight burning sensation in my chest, but it grew and I grabbed the wall tightly, wishing for itto end, it only gets like this when your mate is with another but from the pain I felt, they didn't doanything more than kissing. I sobbed like a child for the undeserving alpha. He'll always choose thatbitch over me. I wiped my tears and walked out, I found Garret waiting for me

"Hey," I waved. he smiled, relieved to see me.

" Are you alright? Your eyes are puffy,”

"I'm just tired, can we go home now?" He guided me to his truck, I felt the hair on my body standup and I twisted my neck to the alpha's office, he was watching me, his gaze unwavering. I inhaleand entered the truck.
