My Daughter 8
Chapter 8
Hannah, leading a group, cornered me in a dark alley.
They grabbed my hands and kicked my knees, forcing me to kneel.

“Alright then! I’ll ruin your face today!”
I closed my eyes, but the pain I expected didn’t

A figure in a school uniform flashed by, pushing Candice away.
Hannah fell into Ken’s arms, her tear–filled eyes looking at him as she covered her face and whimpered, “Ken, it hurts…”
Ken looked at the person in his arms with deep sympathy, then turned a cold gaze to me. “Cloris! This time, you’ve really gone too far!”
