Chapter 419: Missing

Chapter 419: Missing

Ayan subconsciously frowned, he didn't respond immediately becausehe didn't know why she would ask that?

But Camille didn't wait for him to say anything before continuing, "If youwant to move back in, you can tell me in advance, I'll move back intothe apartment so we don't have to bother each other.”

“You think I'm bothering you?"

His face stiffened and his deep eyes locked on her.

She didn't deny it, she just said lightly, "Don't you think it would beawkward and uncomfortable for us to live together in our current state? You will also make grandpa and mom and dad think we have made up,just like the story of the wolf, which will make me feel that I can't dowhat I said myself at all, if you feel more comfortable living in theSimpson's mansion, then I can move out."

The two stared at each other, his dark ink-like eyes as permeated witha layer of thick ice, cold and chilly.

But even so, Camille did not budge, she was already afraid of such asituation, and she preferred not to become irresistible by living togetherin a piece that was constantly set up by the elders to createopportunities, and in the end it was back to square one.

She pursed her lips and waited for a long time without Ayan's response, she said with a warm face: "So you want to move back in?"

Ayan held back the emotions surging under his eyes, his handsomeface was surrounded by a deep coldness, but in the end he didn't havea fit, but only said warmly: "I don't mean to move back in, but I justcame to see my grandfather after sending you back, this cooperation isextremely important to the Simpson Group, and there are some detailsI want to discuss with my grandfather and listen to some of his advice. "No half-word of his response was tinged with anger and displeasure, but every word was filled with a wide-eyed indifference.

His eyes were always looking at her, and the hidden emotions underhis eyes were like a thick fog and obvious and misty.

After his words, Camille immediately moved her gaze away fromcontinuing to look at him, then pursed her lips, "Sorry, then it seemsthat I misunderstood you, since you're coming back for grandpa, thenhurry up and go inside."

She turned around and lifted her feet to go inside, Ayan's eyes weresuddenly startled, his eyes were watching her back for a moment, hiseyebrows moved slightly and spoke lightly: “Camille.”

"Hmm? Is there anything else?"

Camille glanced back at him with a look of indifference to the extreme. He did not speak immediately, his thin lips pursed into a straight line, then stepped on the steps step by step, until she reached out to touchthe distance before stopping.

He looked at her with downcast eyes, "Are you bored of even looking atme now? If it weren't for the fact that I'm the baby's father as well asgrandpa's face, wouldn't you have tried everything to separate yourselffrom me cleanly by now?"

Ayan's handsome face is extremely light, but without the slightest hintof hostility or anger, the pair of deep eyes with a very heavy stoicismwaiting for her response.

Camille subconsciously frowned: "Even if I have such a thought, thereis nothing surprising, right? Ayan, no one will always stand in the sameplace, we have long had problems between us, and before I found out Iwas pregnant, you have already filed for divorce, I think if at that timewe simply divorce, then there will not be such a mutual torture betweenus now."

"Mutual torture?" Ayan sneered, "So now it's a torture for you?"

“It's just an adjective."

She said.

Ayan sneered, a shadow falling under his eye and face: "Camille, you're so good!"

After he finished, he took the first step to lift his feet and walked into thehouse.

But his reaction and his words kept Camille from asking herselfrhetorical questions.

Did she say something wrong again?

How come from his reaction, as if she had done something to hurt him.Camille looked slightly heavy and sighed, with an indescribableemotion in her mind.

She just pursed her lips lightly, then followed.

The two have returned together for the second time, and Talia and theold Simpson were naturally happy to see such a harmoniousatmosphere.

But the old Simpson noticed that the two didn't look very good, and withthe fact that Ayan said he had something to talk to him about work assoon as he entered the room, he went to the study.

Talia looks over to Camille and asks, "Did you have dinner with Ayantonight?"

"Yeah, I accompanied him to Mr. and Mrs. Bell's reception, and MissHayes and her husband who we saw downstairs at the office the otherday."

She responded truthfully.

Talia's eyebrows were stunned and a flash of shock crossed her face, which quickly disappeared, but Camille could still see it clearly.

When Talia was silent, Camille spoke up, "Mom, may I go upstairsfirst?"

Talia then immediately came back to her senses, then hurriedly said,"Okay, you seemed tired, a shower and early rest are good for you."Camille flashed a smile and heads upstairs.

She just didn't want to meet up with Ayan.

But Ayan didn't stay the night at the Simpson's mansion either, butCamille didn't know when he left because she was already asleep atthat time.

Mrs. Bell left her contact information with Camille, and Camille thoughtit was just a convenient way to get in touch with her later, but she didn'texpect Mrs. Bell to send a message the next morning inviting her tomeet for afternoon tea and chat.

Although Camille was busy with work, she couldn't bear to put it offbecause Mrs. Bell gave people a very comfortable feeling, and itwouldn't be as heavy with the air of interest as others.

So Camille said yes.

She chose the place in a cafe near the company, the cafe is good andcomplete, Mrs. Bell is a foreigner, the quality requirements of this areais quite high, so everything will be Mrs. Bell.

Camille arrived at the cafe early, and in about ten minutes, Mrs. Bellarrived in a car arranged by the Simpson Group.

The two had a separate appointment, but the atmosphere was not coldat all.

Mrs. Bell also brought Camille a gift: "Cami, I didn't have time toprepare for the meeting yesterday, so I just made up for it today, youdon't mind, do you?"

"You're welcome, I certainly don't mind, thank you for your kind words.""We are friends, no need for such utmost courtesy.”

Even though there was a huge gap of age difference between the two,but the conversation was cordial.

Mrs. Bell was curious about Camille's relationship history with Ayan, soshe couldn't help but inquire, "How did you two meet?"

Mrs. Bell enjoyed collecting stories of couples she thought are good. She had traveled a lot places over the years, and because herrelationship and marriage with her husband were relatively smooth, shewanted to learn more about the models of couples.

Camille's eyes twitched slightly and she was stunned for a few secondsbefore responding in a low voice: "We were brought together by ourfamilies.”

"Matchmaking?"

Camille nodded, "We didn't know anything about each other until wegot married.”

"And have you ever had a crush on each other?"

Mrs. Bell asked curiously.

Camille thought seriously, then spoke, “I liked him already when he andI were not married.”

"You liked him before you got married?"

"Well, but is it okay if this is a secret between us?" She inquired in ashallow voice, having no defenses against Mrs. Bell, so she just cameright out and told the truth.

Mrs. Bell didn't hesitate to agree: "Of course, I admire you, because Ihave also liked someone before, just because I was too timid to takethat step so I missed it for life, but I met my husband, which is the luckof my life, each of our life is long predetermined, but as for how to live alife, it's totally depend on us."

Camille and Mrs. Bell looked at each other and smiled.

Mrs. Bell then asked, “You like him, but does he have a favorite?"Camille smiled faintly, "He probably has, but I'm not really sure."

Mrs. Bell said, "But it doesn't matter anymore, as long as you'recomfortable with each other now, you'll get better and better.”"Thanks!"

The two clinked their glasses.

The afternoon tea lasted nearly two hours, and after sending Mrs. Belloff, Ayan's phone call came the next moment.

He asked, "You met with Mrs. Bell?"

“Yeah, we just said goodbye."

“You guys ... What did you talk about?"

He asked tentatively.

Camille's almond eyes narrowed and she asked indifferently, “What areyou worried about? That I told her that we're not in love at all?"
