Jinora

I’m still inside the hot spring cave, afraid of leaving because being with Kade is pure happiness. I would never admit it to the asshat himself, but I really enjoy being near him.

It sucks that we aren’t fated mates. Did the moon goddess make a mistake? The s*x was amazing, and Kade is a nice person. But perhaps we aren’t fated mates because he is a lycan?

“How about we try to date each other?” Kade asks me while I’m resting with half of my body in his lap. He is stroking my back with his calloused fingertips, and it feels so damn right.

I like being around Kade. I like having s*x with him even more. He also makes me laugh, and I guess he isn’t as bad as I first thought. The only problem, I guess, is that we aren’t fated mates.

“Are you sure you want to date me?” I ask him in a wary tone. “Wouldn’t it destroy you if we dated each other and I found my true mate?”

“It would.”

“Then dating is out of the question.”

“But what if I marked you mine? I can do that. I’m an alpha, and all I would need to do is bite you right here,” Kade touches my neck for emphasis, and I shudder. He chuckles at that. “I think I’ve found another sensitive spot on your body. Does it tickle when I touch your neck, Jinora? Maybe I should k!ss you here…”

Giggling, I try to swat away his hand. “It doesn’t feel nice. It tickles a lot, and I would probably pee myself if you l!cked me there.”

“That sounds fun.”

“No, Kade, it does not,” I grab his fingers in an attempt to make him stop touching me there. “Stop tickling my neck and go back to brushing my hair instead. It felt way nicer.”

Kade, of course, doesn’t listen.

Three seconds later, I hear his evil chuckle before he grabs my wrists with his much larger hands.

I’m stuck and freeze when Kade brushes away my hair with his nose to then place his mouth on my skin. When he l!cks me, I shriek and howl.

“No-no-no, stop! It tickles! Get away from me, you beast!”

“Beast?” He murmurs and playfully nips at my neck, sending a row of shivers down my spine as he does. “That’s not a very nice to call someone, Jinora. Didn’t they teach you any respect in your pack? To always listen to your alpha?”

“You’re not my alpha!” I’m laughing but not because I’m having fun. It’s because Kade is l!cking and k!ssing my sensitive neck and preventing me from fleeing. It’s also, strangely enough, turning me on.

“No, but I’m bigger than you, Jinora. It means that I’m in charge, and I get to choose which games we indulge in. Right now, I want to k!ss you all over your neck, and there is nothing you can do about it.”

Gah, why is he so infuriating and hot at the same time? My p***y is clenching, needing more s*x, and I think Kade has noticed, too, because there is a questing hand between my legs.

“You’re w.et again and so, so aroused,” Kade points out in a husky tone, and his fingers slide over my w.etness, up to my cl!t. “Is it because of me? Does it turn you on that I’m keeping you in my lap where you can’t escape from me?”

Yes, yes, and yes!

I suck in a deep breath. “Kade… I don’t know what it is with you, but… I need more. Much more…”

His hand keeps teasing me, but he releases his hold of me. “Tell me what you need, and I will give it to you.”

“Your c0ck.”

He chuckles. “Then you should have it.”

When it’s way past midnight, I can barely keep my eyes open. My body is exhausted from having s*x four times in a row with Kade’s monster c**k, and he is carrying me in his arms.

“We could have stayed in the cave,” I mumble. “It was warm and nice when I was curled up against you.”

Kade breathes a laugh. “No, babe, you need a real bed.”

“You could have shape-shifted into a lycan.”

He seems to pause in his steps at that. I’m too tired to look at him and try to adjust my eyes to the dark, but I get the feeling he is staring at me. For some reason, my words seem to have shocked him.

“You wouldn’t be scared of me?”

“No?” I’m not sure why I would be afraid of his lycan. Perhaps there is something he isn’t telling me. “Should I be?”

“No, it’s just that…” he laughs a little and tightens his hold of me. I lean against his strong heartbeat, and Kade continues talking. “Werewolves and lycans don’t usually get along, and your kind usually fears my kind. We walk on two legs. We are also huge and furry, and most of us can’t control ourselves in our other form.”

“But you can,” I point out, and I rub against him, seeking out his heat since it’s damn near freezing in the forest. “And you wouldn’t hurt me, right?”

“No…” Kade speeds up his pace. “And how come you are freezing? Aren’t werewolves always warm?”

“No, that’s a myth,” I tell him. “Because I’m always freezing.”

“Then we are perfect for each other. I’m always warm and don’t mind being your personal heater. Want me to stay the night?”

“You shouldn’t…”

“Why not?”

“Because you’re making me like you more.”

He chuckles. “And why is that a bad thing?”

“We aren’t fated mates.”

Something soft touches my forehead, and I soon realize his l!ps are pressed to my skin. He is k!ssing me. “Silly girl, I already told you I could mark you and make you mine. Would you like that?”

I smile while still not opening my eyes, mumbling. “I think I would like that a lot… You’re really hot…”

“Ah, because that’s all that matters?”

“Very big d!ck.”

Kade chuckles. “You’re tired.”

“Mhm…” Kade is right. I’m barely awake, and I can feel myself slipping into dreamland. Heck, I’m not sure if I’m even awake right now. Life feels too good right now to be true.

I stretch my body and mumble, “You have the most beautiful smile…”

There is another chuckle, and to my delight, another k!ss is pressed against my forehead, this one longer. My toes curl, and I experience butterflies. Kade is so sweet.

I’m almost disappointed when he breaks the k!ss, but it’s all good again when he whispers into my ear.

“You’re adorable. The sweetest girl I’ve ever met. But let’s not mark you tonight. I will ask you again when you’re awake. I don’t want you to make the decision when you’re not fully conscious.”

I smile. “That sounds great.”
