Chapter 32

(Angel)

I woke up to two little hands, one on each side of my face squeezing my cheeks together. I opened my eyes to see my handsome little man. "Mommy, wake" he shouted happily.

"Daddy wake," I hear Monica say before she squeals then laughs. I looked to the side to see Colin tickling her. Colin grabs Xavier and tickles him as well. Monica crawls to where I am and clings to me like a baby Okala.

"Mommy helps" she says, making Colin stop and me stiffen. My head slowly turns to him and I see sadness in his eyes. This little girl has attached herself to me in a short amount of time. Did her mom treat her that badly? I treat her the same way I treat my son. With love and protection. I always want to make sure my son is safe, happy and healthy and I will do anything to keep it that way for both of them.

'She's not ours by blood but she's still our pup', Faith says, and I have a feeling she has imprinted on Monica.

"Monica-" Colin starts, but I stop him.

"Yes, I will help" I said and jumped up, still holding Monica, and started tickling Colin. He starts laughing and the kids join me in tickling their dad. I step back and Colin looks at me and mouths 'thank you! I wink at him and go to the closet. I put on black joggers, a black sports bra, and a black and grey tank top. I put my hair up in a messy bun and grab my sneakers. I look and realize I need more shoes since I have torn through my other ones. I came out of the closet to see the kids sitting on the bed. "Where is daddy?" I asked and they both pointed to the bathroom.

"Did you eat?" I asked and they both nodded. The door to the bathroom opens and Colin comes out.

"I'm going to take the kids downstairs so they can play in the playroom. I'll see you downstairs", I said, and kissed my mate.

"Come on kids" I said. They both got down and took my hand. Once downstairs, I saw dad and Asher. The kids went to the playroom and I went to dad.

"I'm so glad to see you're okay princess" dad says, pulling me into a hug.

"I need to tell you something" I said.

"What is it?" he asked and got on my tippy toes.

"Mom says she loves you and that she will always be your butterfly", I whispered, making my dad pull back and look at me. His eyes shone with unshed tears before he pulled me into another hug.

"Logan says he loves you too" I said, and his hug got tighter.

"Thank you princess" he said, pulling away from me. Asher also gave me a hug.

"Logan said he loves you". Asher looks at me, tilting his head to the side. So I explained what had happened after I lost consciousness.

"Are they okay? Are they happy?" dad asked.

"They are happy. They are watching over us", I assured them.

"I love you too, little man. We will see each other one day", Asher said softly, but I heard him. Colin had already joined us and had grabbed us some coffee. Once I finished with my coffee, we both headed out to the dungeons. I noticed Noah standing there. "Noah, are you okay?" I asked as Colin and I got closer.

"Alpha, Luna" he bowed his head in respect before he continued "I came to see if you needed me to check on the rogues."

"Where they hurt?" I asked.

"I don't know, that's why I came" he said, and I nodded. The three of us headed down the stairs, then stopped in front of the cells. The rogues looked at us and whimpered. I noticed a young girl not older than seventeen or eighteen.

"You were all here to attack my pack along with the other rogues", Colin said using his Alpha voice. The rogues whimpered and bowed their heads in submission.

"A-alpha, we were forced to come here" the young lady says.

"Forced? How?" I asked.

"If we didn't come, the rogue king would have killed our families" the young girl said. I looked at the girl and noticed that she had a scar on her left shoulder. "What happened to you?" I asked, gesturing to her shoulder.

"This is where I was bitten by the rogue king" she says, showing me her shoulder.

"We were all turned" she says, gesturing to the other six people. They all move their shirts to the side and showed us where they were bitten. I couldn't help but look at Noah. He moves his shirt to the side and it's the same mark. "Noah?" I heard a woman call. Noah stiffens and steps forwards.

"Jenna?" he calls and runs to the cells, careful not to touch the door because of the silver.

"Alpha, Luna, this is my sister Jenna", Noah says.

"I thought you got away" he said, looking at her.

"I thought I did too, but just as I was close to freedom I was captured again. They were toying with me the whole time, Noah. I was never going to get away and I was punished for it. I'm sorry" Jenna said. "Don't be sorry Jenna. I should be the one apologizing for leaving you. If I had known you were still there I would never have left", Noah said.

"It's okay. You didn't know" Jenna said.

"Alpha, Luna, we were never going to attack your pack. When the warriors grabbed us, we were planning on running somewhere safe", the young girl says. I could tell she was telling the truth. This is all new to them. "Look, I'm sure ever since you were all turned you've had bad experiences, but trust me when I tell you it is not all bad. All I ask is for you to cooperate with us and we will help you with what we can", I said. "Can you provide us protection from the rogue king?" an older woman asked. I smiled and gestured for the guard to open the gate. My mate looked at me confused.

"I'm sure you know why my pack was attacked, right?" I asked.

"Yes, the rogue king wants you, Luna" the young lady said.

"And do you know why?" I asked.

"N-no" the young lady stuttered, taking a step back as I entered the cell.

"Because I killed his brother and I'm going to kill the others" I growled, making the rogues jump and bow their heads in submission.

"But Luna, they have a pack of rogues, and dark witches, including one powerful dark witch" a man in the back says. I smiled at them.

"I'm sure that by now the rogue king knows that my pack is not a normal werewolf pack, and we also have witches, not to mention a high priestess", I grinned, making their eyes widen.

"We will help with anything we can, Alpha, Luna" Jenna says.

"Is anyone hurt?" Colin asks.

"No Alpha" they all say in unison.

"Okay, I will have some pack members bring you all some food, then we will talk" said Colin.

"Thank you Alpha, Luna" they said, and I walked out of the cell. The guard closed the cell and Noah sat down on the floor close to his sister. Colin and I started walking away.

"Tell them everything they want to know. I made the mistake of challenging them, but then I found out how different they are from the rogue king. Once I cooperated, the Alpha helped me and I got to work-" I stopped listening when we walked out the dungeons. I had a feeling that the Kerr brothers were going to come here for me. I have been putting the pack in danger like before, but there is a dark witch after me too.

"Penny for your thoughts" Colin said. I'm not going to lie to my mate.

"I'm putting the pack at risk by being here and also you, my dad, brothers, and our pup. The Kerr brothers are coming after me and I need to finish this, but what I don't know is why the dark witch is attacking us. Is she after me?" I asked.

"I can answer that" I heard Yashira say. Colin and I both turned to look at her.

"She's after me and my coven. If she kills me, she gets my powers and she becomes the dark high priestess which there will be no stopping her", Yashira says.

"I hurt her. I know I did and she didn't see it coming. She was focused more on you and Mrs. River" I said.

"That's true, but you have other things to worry about. My grandson, your dad, your brothers, and you are going to go after the Kerr brothers", Yashira says. "This pack will fight to protect its Luna, you. I will fight alongside you. But the question is, will you stay and fight with us?" my mate asked.

"I'm not going anywhere, my love", I assured him and he grinned from ear to ear. I notice some Omegas carrying some trays of food toward the dungeons.

"So, what are we going to do? Are we going to wait until they come back and attack us or what?" I asked.

"Let's wait until we talk to the rogues and replace out what they know first" my mate said, and I nodded.

"Okay, I'm going to eat something and check on the kids" I said.

"River has the kids. They are at her cabin baking cookies" said Yashira. I know the kids are safe with their grandma and grandpa. I nodded and walked to the pack house. Once inside, I went to the kitchen and made my mate and I some sandwiches. "Good morning" I heard Red say. I looked at the clock and chuckled. It was past dinner time.

"You mean afternoon. It's five thirty in the afternoon" I chuckled.

"Really? Damn, I slept a long time" he said, making me look at him only to see his marks. I squealed and hugged him.

"Congrats". I hugged him.

"Thank you" he blushed. I made him a sandwich knowing he was hungry. My mate walked in and smiled at Red. "Congratulations Dyland", my mate said as I placed a plate in front of him.

"Thank you Alpha" he says, and I smile at my best friend.

"Hey sis", Elijah k!ssed the top of my head before grabbing my sandwich and taking a huge bite out of it. I growled at him before putting the sandwich in front of him and making me a new one. I made extra, knowing that Ray would be down soon. "Mom said she's going to keep the kids for the night", Colin informed me.

"Does she need me to take anything to her house?" I asked.

"No, she has everything she needs", Colin assured me. I look at my brother and, as if feeling my gaze on him, he looks at me.

"What's up sis?" he asks.

"First of all, congratulations", I pointed to the mating mark and his ears turned red.

"Also, I don't know if Red explained to you what happened to us" I said, and I saw him nod.

"He told me everything" my brother says.

"Good, but there's one thing I need to tell you that I told dad and Asher" I said, and my brother just nodded, waiting for me to tell him.

"Logan says he loves you" I said and I saw his eyes shine with unshed tears. Red snaps his head towards my brother before going to him and hugging him.

"I love him too", Elijah says.

"He knows" I assured him.

"Thank you for the sandwiches babe. I'm going to talk to the rogues. Why don't you take a nice bath and relax", Colin said. A nice bath wasn't a bad idea. He grabs some sandwiches.

"For Ray, he's going to meet me there. You coming, Elijah?" Colin asked and I saw my brother's eyes light up.

"Is there going to be any torture? Because to be honest, I can't watch other people get tortured", my brother says.

"No big brother, you just can't watch me do the torturing" I chuckled.

"True, and I don't ever want to be the person you torture" he says with a shudder, and Colin chuckles.

"You torture people?" Red asks.

"Angel? Yes, people even call her death because they know that after she tortures them that's what comes next", Elijah chuckles and I shake my head.

"Don't listen to him" I said.

"Actually, I believe him", Red says, and I fake a hurt gasp by putting my hand on my chest.

"I'll see you later babe". Elijah k!sses his mate and Colin k!sses him before leaving. Red is quiet for a moment and I know I need to apologize for hiding this secret from him.

"Red, I'm sorry for hiding this secret from you" I said, taking his hand.

"You don't need to apologize, Angel. I already told you I understood and I still do. You needed to keep it a secret to protect not just you, but everyone you love and care about. I would have done the same thing", he says. I hugged him, thankful that he understood, but I noticed that he was still a little sad.

"Then why do you look so sad?" I asked him.

"This is all just like I have read in books. The only difference is that this is real", he smiles before that smile turns to a sad one.

"The reason why I'm sad is that Ray is a Beta and he is going to need an heir and I know Elijah would want children. I know I do, but that's something I can't give them. I have seen them how they are with Xavier and Monica" he says as a tear runs down his cheek. "Don't be sad, Red. There are different ways you can have children. You can adopt-"

"I prayed to the moon goddess earlier. I mean I have never done it before. I thanked her for such an amazing gift. She gifted me not just one, but two amazing men. But I asked if it wasn't too much trouble for her, if there was a possibility she could bless us with a female mate", Red said, interrupting me. I smiled sadly.

"If that doesn't work, then you can adopt. If not, then you need to talk to your mates and maybe choose a chosen mate that the three of you want, but I do hope and pray the moon goddess listens to your prayer". I smiled at him.

"I hope so too," he said. The kids were with River, Tristan, and Koslov, which meant I was alone with my best friend. Hm, should we watch a movie? Go to the waterfall? Or go shopping.

"Angel?" Red calls, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah?" I said, but it sounded like a question.

"Can you teach me how to defend myself? I mean I know what you have taught me before, but I want to learn more" he says, making me grin.

"Do you still remember what I taught you before?" I asked.

"Why don't we go to the training grounds and replace out?" he smirks. I flashed my eyes at him and he just chuckled.

"Neat trick. Hopefully I'll have a trick or two when I shift for the first time" he said.

"Let's go change. I'll meet you down here in five", I said, and went upstairs to the room I share with my mate. I went to the dresser and got out some gray leggings. I kept my sports bra and top on. I then put my hair in a braid. I put on my sneakers and headed down to the kitchen to wait for Red. As I walked in, the Omegas were busy making dinner. As if noticing me, they all turned and bowed their heads in respect.

"Luna" they all said in unison. I nodded in acknowledgement, then grabbed two bottles of water. Red came down and I handed him a bottle of water. "Let's do this" he grins as we both headed to the training ground.
