Chapter 9

(Angel)

I bent over dry heaving as my lunch wanted to come up, yet nothing came up. When Mr. Koslov, Gabriel, Mr. Tristan and Colin talked about training, I thought it was going to be something like the obstacle course during gym, but I was way off. Their training was hardcore and I found myself losing my temper here and there, only to be added a mile every time I did to the five miles I had to run today. By the time training came to an end, I had to run fifteen miles, but I was glad the last five miles I was able to run them in my I dropped to the ground and laid on my back as I heard Mr. Koslov, Mr. Tristan, Garbiel, and Colin chuckle.

Lycan form.

"You did really good for your first time", Gabriel says. I didn't answer. I just brought my right thumb up and gave him a thumbs up, making him chuckle. "Dinner will be done soon" Colin said.

"Good, I'm starving and I need a shower" I said, trying to get up, but my body wasn't responding. A whimper left my lips. Arms wrapped around me and I looked to see it was Colin. We headed back to what I learned was the pack house. Colin took me upstairs to his room and into the bathroom. He placed me on the toilet and went to turn on the shower.

"I'll bring you a towel. Take your time and if you need anything let me know" he said, as his cheeks turned pink.

'Mate is also a virgin' Faith said in my head.

'How do you know?' I asked. I learned from Gabriel that when I spoke to my wolf, that I could just think about what I wanted to say and she would hear me. That I didn't have to talk out loud.

'Xan told me. He was dating that other girl, but no s**** ¡*********e. Mate was waiting for us. I want mate. I want to mark mate' she said. It's not the first time I've heard her say about marking our mate and she felt strong about it.

"Thank you" I said to Colin. He smiled at me before turning around and leaving the bathroom. I began to undress, then looked at myself in the mirror. My eyes went to my phoenix tattoo and I instantly thought of my mom and my little brother. Then my eyes went to the two stab wounds on my right side. I needed to get those covered up and I knew exactly what I wanted. I got in the shower. I washed my hair and body and let the hot water relax my sore muscles. Once I felt better, I turned off the shower and got out just as the bathroom door opened. Colin stood there, shirtless and with a towel in his hand and eyes wide. His eyes darkened as he took me in.

'Mate wants us' Faith said as I looked at the bulge in his pants. I smirked and walked towards him. I heard him gulp. I took the towel from his hand and pressed my body to his.

"We are mates, right?" I asked, already knowing the answer. Faith practically screamed it after we shifted for the first time. Colin nodded his head.

"So, I can mark you?" I asked. He looks at me and nods rapidly.

"How does it go?" I ask, but a purr leaves my lips. His eyes are completely black and I can see my eyes are... glowing? What the-.

"We bite each other here" his fingers gently touched where my neck and shoulder meet, making me shudder and a moan leaves my lips. "Show me" I breathed out.

"With pleasure" he said before he crashed his lips into mine. His arms wrapped around my wa!st before his hands went down to my as*s, gripping it tight before pulling me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist. I felt him lower me to the soft mattress, his lips never leaving mine. A few seconds later, he pulled back only to trail kisses along my jaw and down my neck before he pulled back. He looked at my br3asts then sat on his knees as he looked at my n*ked body in front of him.

"Breathtakingly beautiful" he said, then looked at me as if asking for permission. I have no idea what he was asking permission for, but I found myself nodding. He smirked, making the butterflies in my stomach erupt. He leaned down, taking my left n!pple in his mouth and, with his left hand knitted at my right br3ast, pinching, and rolling my n!pple between his fingers. I moaned loudly, arching my back, wanting him closer. He licked, bit, and svcked on my left n!pple, then gave the other one the same attention. He grinded his lower half on to mine and I moaned even louder. The friction felt so good.

Colin left my br3ast. He looked at me and I saw his canines were elongated. He kissed his way up to my neck and graced the spot he would mark me with his canines. He continued to grind and I felt like there was something that wanted to come out of me. He was building up my Orgasm.

"Colin" I screamed as my Orgasm tore through me and he sank his canines into my neck. My mouth opened with a silent scream from the pain before it turned to pure pleasure. He retracted his canines and licked the mark. He continued to grind against me. I could tell he was close and I felt my canines elongate. I was afraid I was going to hurt him.

'We're not going to hurt mate' Faith assured me. His body jerked and I took this time to sink my canines into his neck. His hold on me tightened as a low, primal growl left my lips as I sank my canines deeper. His blood sipped into my mouth. I retracted my canines and licked the blood that had some out. I couldn't help but sniff him and now my scent was on him and I knew his scent was on me. A growl of approval left my lips. He growled as well. My eyes felt heavy.

"Rest, my love. I'll bring you some dinner" he said. I didn't argue and just laid on the bed. He covered me with the duvet before leaving and darkness took over me.

(Colin)

After I woke my mate up to have dinner, she quickly ate, then she was out again like a light. Besides being tired from training, I know she was tired because of the mark as well. Once I knew she was in a deep sleep, I began to look through the files she had given us after telling us what really happened to her family. I held back a growl as I looked at the pictures of what was done to her and her mother. Ever since she was nine years old she had been going from town to town, city to city, and state to state. Her mother, and little brother, and her name had been changed so many times.

My mate had been through so much. I then took out the pictures she had in another box. There were pictures of her father, her pregnant mother, and her. She looked really happy. I then looked at the other pictures of her mother holding a baby, then another picture of the same but with my beautiful mate with them. I realized this was her little brother. There were other pictures of her and her little brother as he grew up, but there was one that I liked the most. It was a picture of her and her little brother. He was on top of a wooden box looking at what she was doing and handing her what seemed to be a screw driver.

I sighed, putting everything back. I heard Tara when she said she tipped Bernard's brothers. The look of fear I saw on my mate's face was one I don't ever want to see again. I decided to put everything away and put it in our closet before lying beside my mate. I kissed her forehead, then pulled back just as my eyes landed on my mark. I still couldn't believe that we marked each other. Xan was happy and so was I. I have never been so happy in my life and I fell asleep with a smile on my face.

"I'm so happy for the both of you, sweetheart" Yashira smiled. She was so happy about Colin and I marking each other.

"I am too," I smiled.

"Alright sweetheart, off you go" Yashira clapped her hands.

"We don't want you to be late for school." I grabbed the bacon, my backpack, and my phone before running out the door. Colin was waiting for me beside his car with the door open for me. "Thank you my handsome mate", I grinned.

"Any time, my love" he grins back. Once inside the car, he took hold of my hand and every chance he got he would kiss my hand.

"The year is almost over and I was thinking that, since I'm done with my other classes except for engineering, that I would just work on the car", I said.

"You're done with your other classes?" he asked, shocked.

"Yes, I just wanted to make sure that I got to experience high school" I admitted. He nodded.

"Okay, I can talk to Mr. Guy about it" he said.

"Thanks love", I smiled and brought a bacon to his lips. He opened his mouth and I put the bacon in his mouth. We got to school and got out. I felt like someone was watching me. A low growl left my lips as I looked around. "What's wrong, my love?" Colin said, coming to my side. I don't know if it was just me, so I brushed it off.

"Nothing, It's just the different scents" I lied but took a whiff and scrunched my nose. Someone was wearing way too much perfume.

"You're a Lycan, my love. Your senses are ten times more heightened than ours", Colin says, taking my hand into his. As we walked inside the school, I could feel eyes on me from other students. I could sense those who were werewolves.

"I'll meet you at your locker, my love" Colin said, making his way to his locker. I nodded and headed to my locker. Suddenly, a pungent stench made its way to my nose. I wrinkled my nose as I opened my locker. The stench got stronger and I felt someone behind me. I turned to see Tara, Ivory, and Karen. They looked pissed off and even though they had clean clothes on, the stench was definitely coming from them.

"We were banished because of you" Tara snarled.

"We can't be with our families because of you", Karen said, and Ivory nodded her head. The look they were giving me made Faith come forward on full alert.

"You were banished because you didn't listen to your Alpha". I then looked at Karen and said, "You can't be with your family because you decided to follow instead of standing on your own." I then looked at the three of them "you being banished was your own fault not mine." Tara growled at me.

"You took my mate from me" Tara growled. Her words ignited a fire in me, and not in a good way. A growl left my lips as I heard gasps.

"Colin is my mate. MINE" I growled, taking Tara by surprise. Arms wrapped around me, sending sparks all over my body, calming my Lycan.

"Tara, Ivory, Karen, are you looking to get banished from here as well?" Colin asked.

"This is not over" Tara growled before walking away. Ivory and Karen looked at me and Colin before finally turning and following Tara. Colin turned me around to look at him.

"Take deep breaths, my love. The humans can't see you like this", Colin said, bringing my head to rest on his chest. I did as he said and soon Faith had calmed down.

"Come on, I'll walk you to the engineering class" he said. This was going to be a long day.
